I agree with you so much! Not all high notes are created equal. BTOB are better vocalists overall so the way they sing will always be a cut above the rest. What I love about them is that they layer their voices so well. We have heavier, darker voices in Sungjae and Hyunsik while the lighter, brighter voices are with Eunkwang and Changsub. They always harmonize and layer their voices so you have his beautifully rich, full sound that is a joy to hear. Compared to a single person just belting out a note, their way is so much more pleasing to my ears.

Kingdom brought me back to listen to this again and this brings tears to my eyes. I've been a fan even before Ilhoon suggested the fandom name to be Melody and then became a Melody since then. BTOB Melody even was the first fandom that I officially registered my name to. Yes, the first Melodies in my country had that sort of official membership registration which I lost keeping track already. It has been so long and it still pains me that Ilhoon left the group. Seeing them together complete brings back the memories of my youth and the very reason why I fell in love with BTOB.

I have to put this out there bc BTOB is ALWAYS praised for their vocals bc they are truly the kings of vocals. BUT oof the RAPLINE... Bro BTOB is an overall package. OOf i just felt the need to gas my boys :') Ilhoon...this man's rap is defined by his wordplay, clarity, SPEED, and amazing flow. There is NO DOUBT he is at least among the top 3 BEST rappers of his generation. Popularity aside, If you listen to his rap objectively you will know what I am talking about. What's fun about Ilhoon and the rapline is that he composes and writes almost all of of his raps with clever wordplay that most non-Koreans unfortunately cannot appreciate as much! His raps are clean, crisp, and precise. You can tell every word in his raps are deliberate and articulate! His rap style is impeccable. It can be both gritty and aggressive or quirky and fun! Minhyuk is another beast. He raps with raw emotions and aggression so intense that it makes you stop the video and say "woah". Peniel is kind of the opposite where his rap has this unique fluidity and lighthearted feel that can overall make you smile and has you head bopping. He has a sweet voice that can get husky when it needs to. Plus his raps are mostly English and that is such a gift to international melodies ;)

ahh~ came back here after watching episode two of KINGDOM where the members talked about what song of theirs should they perform for round one, when "I'LL BE YOUR MAN" was mentioned~ their reactions were just so hilarious af 😂!! Minhyuk saying that he will never sing if they pick that song, Peniel was exempted as he is the rapper~ that means, Changsub and Eunkwang were the only ones left as vocalists that should cover all the singing parts~ after Changsub realized this, he directly said that they will die singing as this song is very high which is the very reason why this song was eliminated in the choices lol 😆!! but really~ jokes aside, *THIS WILL ALWAYS BE ONE OF BTOB'S LEGENDARY SONG 💯!!* this was just so exceptional, the rapping and vocals were just ON POINT~ *THIS SONG JUST SLAPS SO HARD❗*

I just dunno why A LOT of newer fans underestimate BTOB like as if topnotch vocals isn't important and pretty underrated.
