Im so glad BTOB is getting more recognition esp from overseas viewers. thanks so much for checking them out! Melodys are still sad about hoonie leaving so i really appreciate that you thread lightly on this. Also Eunkwang is the leader since debut but they chose another leader when he went to the military by spinning a roulette wheel and Minhyuk was chosen and when he went to the military. they spun the roulette wheel again and Peniel was chosen but he was only leader for about 5 minutes until Sungjae became leader haha but since Eunkwang is back from military, he took his leader role back. :))) variety shows that i would suggest is the latest BTOB 4U on weekly idol and knowing brother's ep74 or for some funnys i would suggest "BTOB reserved and quiet idols" series. Its a good pick me up guaranteed to brighten up anyone's day.

If you're a kdrama fan, you'll easily recognize their maknae Sungjae. One of the best idol actors. But aside from that, Btob is known for releasing hits. One of their greatest hits is Missing You which you have have heard in Kingdom. Its the 3rd longest idol group song in Melon, just right behind Bts's Spring day and Boy with luv. Its stay in charts for more than a year.

in order of age Eunkwang - Leader, Main vocal Minhyuk - Main rapper, Sub vocal, Dancer Changsub - Main vocal Hyunsik - Main vocal, producer Peniel - Main Rapper Ilhoon - Main rapper, producer Sungjae - Main vocal, Maknae & Actor I can confidently say that as a Melody(fandom name), all of them are legit 7 Vocalist, 7 Rappers. They aren't that great in dancing wise but they're too powerful when it comes to vocals. I would say all of them have helped in producing songs, but mostly Hyunsik and Ilhoon produce most of their songs. Popular songs by them 1. It's okay 2. Remember that 3. Missing you 4. I wouldn't really say that Btob isn't that great in dancing. If you watch their debut teaser you will know that. It's just that dancing is not their main strong point.

BTOB, my other Ult group. I love them so much! Eunkwang is the oldest and ALWAYS the leader. Minhyuk is the second oldest (only like a week apart in age) Changsub 3rd oldest. Peniel - our Chicago Boy (Maknae line) The two currently in the Military is Hyunsik And maknae sungjae. Illhoon, main rapper is also in the Military but left the group. Extremely hilarious and chaotic. 😂 Variety stuff is the better option. Even fan made content are also extremely helpful.

And it's pretty understandable that for new fans it's easy to just say one member left and they are six now but for us... Older fans and B7OB themselves, it's not easy, it doesn't feel right to look at B7OB as six, cuz they are not six, they are SEVEN, Always. So...😅 I understand that because you're new you're just saying what the news say but if you actually want to get to know B7OB you will notice that their bond is just so STRONG, their relationship is beautiful, they are truly a family and Melody (The fandom) is a family as well, and after you realize this on your own, you will consider them always as a SEVEN MEMBER GROUP. Eunkwang it's the leader since debut but when he got in military they choose Minhyuk (he is also only a week younger than Eunkwang) , then when Minhyuk was going to the military they choose Sungjae (the maknae, he didn't do much just brag about being leader), all of this by spinning a wheel (also Peniel was choose as main dancer, that's also why he was in the dance division of kingdom) right now the leader it's Eunkwang again. They always do things like this hahahaha. Also not all people now this but BTOB are a self produced group. They do their own songs and their own recordings. All of them are musicians. "I'll be your man" it's a song composed and produced by Hyunsik one of the two main producers of BTOB.

Omg I somehow didn't expect you'll be checking out on them. I'm just so glad! I love their songs and, yes, the members esp Eunkwang, are such lovely people and they're such really funny ones. Honestly, I was not really in favor of BTOB joining Kingdom. Like they were such an established and senior group and as you can see most of their songs are vocal heavy and not much on the 'knife-cutting' dance that 3rd gen kpop started to popularize. People were saying it's because they were on a long hiatus due to the military service and some other issues, and after hearing your intro, I guess it's good for them to be seen on Kingdom. I don't watch it but I hope they're able to show their amazing selves in there.

They absolutely shine. They are amazing people, super talented artists and they absolutely make the show a joy to watch. They may not really fit that well between the others but they somehow managed to make the whole show feel like a family fest and they make me smile every week, besides the goosebumps they give me with each performance. KD might be cruel in a sense: they brought me BTOB so I’m pretty grateful for that.

@@A.Rabbit That's really great to know. Well, firstly, I think it matters that they're the senior ones and the respect for them is there. Then their charming selves would somegow radiate harmony yowards all the groups. Eunkwang and Sungjae are the most used to reality & variety shows too so they know how to handle their selves and their group very well. I'm wishing they continue to go blow off viewers mind with their talent and awesomeness :) And thank you for paying attention to them. Enjoy basking to their music~

I really like your attitude about learning the history of kpop by appreciating the older groups. Their contribution to kpop is important, too. I would suggest adding to your list big bang, tvxq(db5k) along with super junior they have blazed the trail. They are the giants upon whose shoulders famous kpop groups now stand on.

I love your reaction and your analysis . Thanks for giving ears to BTOB. They truly are happiness grouped together. I hope you react to more BTOB. Melody loves BTOB being reacted and we appreciate it so much, we talk about it in our gdms which where I found your video. I would suggest reserved and quiet idols because that is where a lot of Melody get some juicy BTOB fun stuff. For variety, try weekly idol, knowing bros, idol room, cool men, pikicast(after mom sleeps). Also, I prefer watching their lives performances more than their mvs but if you want to react on them, choose their concert clips, there are a lot of HD vids of their concert. For Ilhoon, I miss him and I'm still supporting him and I hope he finds happiness in the end. My heart breaks for the group who really displays deep sense of friendship/family-ship. As I really feel attracted to the group and the music I am going to discover them more. I know the word ‘reaction’ is confusing but it’s the only word I can use in the titles of the videos to qualify them. I am a fan of kpop so I don’t really do reactions but I share my journey, discoveries and feelings it all gives me. So I am planning on getting deeper into their career and music etc but I need some time to get there since there is a lot. Thank you for the suggestions! I'm just one fan, so I can say only my opinion, I can't talk in the name of the whole fandom, but I would like to share my thoughts about Ilhoon, who left, since you may wonder what the fans think.. My feelings are complicated, because I miss him, but I'm also disappointed. I'm disappointed, because he knew that drugs are illegal in Korea, he knew that he would have to leave the group if someone finds out what he's doing, and he still did it so many freaking times. That's the only thing that bothers me. Personally, I don't have any problem with people doing anything moderately, so the fact that he smoke it or whatever wouldn't matter for me (as long as he's safe - it's his life, his health), BUT if we're talking about Korea and the Korean law that he knew very well - I don't understand how he could knowingly break the law and harm his future and BTOB. If it's legal, do what you want. I don't have any right to tell you what you can or can't do. But if it's against the law? Why would you do that as a public figure? Do you want to end up in jail? I don't understand.. And if that would be once or twice, I could be like "okay, curiosity, I get that", but he did it hundreds of times! Just.. why? I've seen after Ilhoon left that BTOB members said in an interview something, suggesting that BTOB is still 7, and Korean fans got really mad at them (I think it was Eunkwang who said it and got so much hate, but I'm not sure). From foreign fans on youtube (I don't check other social media for my mental health) I've mostly seen opinions similar to mine - I don't hate Ilhoon and I miss him, but I'm so so disappointed.. In iKON's or MONSTA X's case it's easier, most of the true fans would say they are still 7 for them, since the members left in some weird situations, that were later on proofed to be over exaggerated or straight up false, so it was no need for B.I and Wonho to leave. Here with BTOB it's more complicated, since Ilhoon did something wrong, even if in some other countries it wouldn't be an issue. So now everyone will decide for themselves, if they can forgive him. I personally forgive him, I think I'm more sad than mad, but I'll never stop being disappointed. He had my trust and he broke it. He was stupid and now he's paying for it. The best explanation I can give would be that I feel kinda like a mother in this situation, you know - I'm disappointed, but it's still my child, how can I turn my back on him? I still watch the old BTOB content with a smile. I'm just sad, because Ilhoon - his personality, charisma and talent - was the reason I got into BTOB in the first place.. Well, these are my personal thoughts, so no one can hate me for having them - I think.

I am disappointed in his actions but not in him. He is a human being who made a mistake because he didn’t see any other way of relieving the stress of the industry, plus he was really young when he started that journey. Young ones make all kinds of bad decisions and even worse decisions when under the amount of stress that idols are under. That is a normal part of growing up - research has shown that “adolescent brains are not fully developed and cognizant until about 25 years old.” Ilhoon is currently 26, almost 27. He started and stopped between 21 & 24 which is a crucial time frame for brain development and notorious for poor decision making. I do not agree or condone taking any type of dr*g, outside of prescriptions, but I don’t criticize or hate those who fall into that trap either because it is a very slippery slope and can be very difficult to overcome.

But in this case I was still disappointed in Ilhoon, which is just how I feel, so I can't change that. I can't separate his actions and say I'm only disappointed with them, while he was the one doing it. And I'm not disappointed because he was doing dr*gs, I'm disappointed that he knowingly broke the law so many times, even if I don't personally agree with how strict it is in that regard in Korea. Until they change it, you need to obey the law as it is. Even if you are in a process of growing up, that doesn't mean you can constantly break the law and blame it on not fully developed brain, especially when you're over 20 years old (I'm not saying you insinuated that it's ok to do that or that he's doing that, I'm just using your words to pinpoint where and why I personally disagree with your comment in this particular situation and to further explain how for me his actions where more serious than just making a mistake, especially since he did that too many times to call it "a mistake" IMO). I hope my intentions are clear and you don't feel attacked. If the law says you can't do it, you just can't. I think he was capable of understanding that and making the fair judgment as a 21 year old. And he knew how serious consequences he can face, because Korean law is so strict in that matter for some reason. He can even go to prison now, and still he did it - not just here and there, once in a while, but constantly, hundreds of times, according to the police report, so that's why I'm disappointed in him. I don't care that he did dr*gs, I care that he broke the law over and over again. It wasn't just one mistake for me. I would fully agree with your comment about "making a mistake because he didn't see any other way...", but not when he did it this many times. But I'm also really, really proud of him that he stopped at some point. It already shows that he changed and that deserves a praise. And as I said, I'm not turning my back on him. He did something wrong, but didn't harm others - that's what matters to me the most in all scandals regarding kpop artists, and what makes me delete all of some artists' songs. I still listen to his songs, I still consider him a part of BTOB and I will support him if he'll ever want to sing again. I can look past my disappointment, but it doesn't change the fact that I felt it at some point. I won't forget that I was disappointed, but I also won't hold on to it - I will move on with only love and support for Ilhoon. My thoughts are a mess, hope it's somehow understandable, especially since English is not my first language 😅

@@lynn4ya I understand your point but with dr*gs it’s a little more complicated than saying choosing to break the law over and over. If he became addicted (which seems to be the case based upon number of times he used them), then it is no longer a “choice” but a “need” which is very difficult to overcome. The first time was the mistake, the times after were from addiction to the feeling he received from the dr*g to which it takes immense strength and perseverance to overcome (I had a friend who battled dr*g addiction and it was a Very difficult journey). The fact that he was able to overcome it without medical intervention is a testament to his strength, his will power, and his love for his family & friends (many, many people are unable to overcome addiction without medical intervention). So, he did make a mistake but I don’t believe he voluntarily chose to break the law over and over, I believe he became addicted to the dr*g and it’s effects to the point it became a need rather than a choice. I am proud of him because a) he overcame the addiction; b) he admitted to the wrong-doing; & c) he has promised to seek help and find other ways to deal with stress.

And I fear some other people can get whiff of this and get affected too. I hope we can water down these kinds of discussion esp to a video that's not really discussing the case.
