I completely agree about kpop Christmas music. I worked retail jobs for years and had to play Christmas music way before the holidays and I got so tired of it. But I love how Kpop winter albums are not all in your face Christmas music but more just albums with a cozier and comforting vibe.

Thank you for reacting to this. This is just one of their fun sounding songs with cute choreo but the message is a bit sad. It speaks of having a special relationship with the girl, spending warm moments but then the girl is now with someone else and even though the guy is hurting..he's wishing that she's happy with that someone new and that he won't ever see her cry..at the same time, he'll try his best to move on and get over it, hoping he'll find his own happiness too. Well, you're right, Christmas songs are happy songs but also sad at the same time..giving that sense of nostalgia or simply longing to see those familiar faces, wanting to be in those memorable places with the people you are about. It's how I feel, too whenever I hear a Christmas song..happy and nostalgic at the same time. Thank you for this reaction, the live stages of this are super fun with them wearing different costumes. OK the next ones will be the live versions, gotta see that! its true, there is always a tinge of pain with nostalgia, I dont think I could have said it better myself I always find that in my own life, every time I get to the holidays I almost always reflect a little bit more, I think a lot of times its because there is always so much family history that happens around this time, it kind of sets up a lot of identity for your whole family! My understanding, although I may be wrong, is that Christmas in Korea is generally seen as a couples day, so that may also be apart of the song vibes. I think this video is cute but I have to separate the lyrics from the video in order to not have confusion be my strongest impression. LOL. They're telling the girl that she better be happy with her new love, but she's obviously alone and sad. Thanks for your reaction!

yeah, I kinda had to do that after I went and read the lyrics, I kinda wondered if that was the case with Christmas, I remember thinking that Miracle in December by EXO was really a lot more romantic than I could have pinned on the normal stuff I was used to
