This is actually a real thing, no matter how smooth a plane lands, without gears there's a lot of friction with the ground which generates heat and ignites the fuel, causing an explosion. This is why pilots dump fuel before landing when there's a problem with the landing gear. However in this case, it was unexpected so there was a ton of fuel to burn.

You’re wrong on the Gatwick, united kingdom as the whole plane turned into nothing, so how can there be survivors? For proof look at the independent air, the same thing but all dead, so how is 14 people surviving the Gatwick one? Same with hewa bora the whole plane got ripped to pieces, how do 44 survive then???? On flash airlines, 144 died... but, that cant be as the tail, was still connected to the rear passenger seats and doors, so even after the flip, there should of been around 12-21 people alive as they may of just been sick or passed out (not dead) and wake up and get out, and wait for rescue. If you do get what im saying, and actually realise what you did wrong, i think u may not of noticed without this comment.
