I'm a bicentennial baby. The 80's was the absolute best time to be a kid. The music, movies, TV shows, the sportscars, the fashion, was so perfect. The Midnight, brings back so many memories of my childhood. If you were an adult in the 80's then, the memories was different, as we had the Iran-Contra with Olly North fiasco, Pres. Ronald Reagan getting shot, the Space Shuttle Challenger blowing up, and Ms Thatcher invading the Falkland Islands. Thank you.

It’s true. That decade wasn’t just cool; it was the pinnacle of humanity. We didn’t just watch classics like The Goonies or rock out to synth-filled anthems-we lived them. There’s never been anything quite like it since!

I was born in 1968. I was 12 for the beginning of the 80's. I had the pleasure of living them age 12 to 21. Can't ask for a better age range for living in the 80's. As a 56 year old man now, I have very fond memories that make me cry and smile at the same time.

Les films étaient diffusés avec un peu de retard par rapport aux USA ,mais je les ai tous vu ... enfin presque. Meme aujourd'hui ,je trouve cela chouette car les productions actuelles sont à vomir ... Nous avons eu beaucoup de chance de vivre cette époque des années 80. Bye

The music, the clothes, the hairstyles, the cablephones, the cars, the VHS, the walkie talkies, the (yet) human interactions, the boardgames, the nonexistence of the internet, the romance, the movies, the books, the cassettes, the walkmans, the colors, the chill, the curiosity. my god, how i wish to be there.

I was 12 in 1989. Old enough to remember quite a bit of the 80s but not old enough to do everything. One instance that has stuck with me now for 35 years. Dad went to visit grandpa in the town over from us. My aunt was a few years older than I and took me to the arcade to meet her friends. The sights, sounds and smells of the arcade was the best ever. I went to the arcade a few years later when nobody was there and the home system took hold. It wasnt the same and I knew than, that our lives were changing and not for the better. Kids dont get out like that anymore and finding that 1 true love just isnt the same.
