Yes! I’d say from my professional dancer point of view, since studying jimin and knowing he’s a versatile dancer. Jimin is a mix of both jk and Hobi. But definitely more graceful, sensual, and fluid.

They are amazing but to me jk is the best dancer I'm not saying it cos he's my bias but bc he goes hard when he's dancing. He's strong energetic powerful manly as a dancer who always gives his 110% but at the same time he's graceful fluid n flawless. He's always on point as dancing experts have noted. You're right to notice how they are incharge for the whole operation,its been like this for many years now...they monitor everything from lights,sounds,camera to choreo and other dancers,they are extremely detailed and hard working and it can't be stressed enough how independent they are with their own stuff and group activities including all major and minor decisions...company gives suggestions yes but bts are incharge and they don't have to be told to work,they are passionate and professional enough on their own

Exactly. I love watching the behind the scenes and seeing that they are basically an independent team now. At the end of the day, Son Sung Deuk and the other choreographers are there to help not to tell them what to do. Hobi took the role as the stage leader, but of course the others can also give their input

Idk if people forget Jimin’s background or they ignore the fact that Jimin is a versatile dancer, and known as thee best. He’s learned and mastered all kinds of styles of dancing. Like B-boying, street, popping, hip-hop, contemporary/ballet, modern, korean, acrobatic, and more(But I understand him when he said he did a style he’s not used to bc he focused/specialized in contemporary) This is one of many reasons why his dancing is influencing dancers and perception of genres. So many idols have expressed themselves since 2013 to now of how much they admire and respect him and choose him as their role model. 3J’s original dance line. Tae studied dance to film Singularity MV and after that he became a member of the dance line. Hobi wanted to perform a 3J dance. There is another older 3j performance. Jimin studied locing, popping, isolation, b-boy dance styles before he studied contemporary dance, but he always acts like he is lacking. He squeezed two years of training including synchronized dancing into 6 months as the last member of BTS. There is a classic 3J performance I think it was part of a BTS prom. jimin tends to get muscle spasms easily so, that's part of him having to take it easy and then go all out, or like when his neck wouldn't move towards the end. i watch the 3J performance for butter often, and i usually watch it 4 times when i do - focus on all 3, then one time on each member - there's so much detail and unique style each one brings to the same choreo.

3J is my favorite unit of the group, I absolutely love their passion and perfeccionism. I love the behind the scenes of this dance because no one excepts them really knows the amount of work they put on their performances... it's literally a less-than-1-minute dance and it took them more than a dozen times to FILM it but imagine how many times they actually practiced for it, especially Jimin since he's known for practicing way more than everyone else. I remember watching those 30 seconds countless times to catch every little detail. The choreo is so complicated and fast, if you blink once you miss 3 moves. The 3j dancing together are so fun to watch but they make me feel lazy because of how perfectionist they are 😅 Now think what it’s like with all the 7 members, with jhope as the leader… crazy! The guy you see talking to them in the beginning is their Performance Director (set design, props, etc) and Choreographer. He directs a lot of their stage performances, concerts, etc. He's been with them since the beginning.

Just think with only three of them cleaning for one verse, this is how serious our drill team was with 20+ girls and a full 3 min song. You go through every single count and analyze every position of body parts and do it a million times. And with all three of them being perfectionists it’s even harder because dancers already never feel like we did good enough

You will be surprised by what their dance and practice studio is like. BTS practically uses 1 floor of the Hybe building. They have their own studio for production, and their practice studio has its own resting area and pantry. They can live on their own floor if they want to. They said fewer people have access to BTS floor. You have seen their performance director Son Sungdeuk. He used to be their main choreographer but now holds a higher position. Yes BTS are given more freedom by Hybe and they can decide over things they want to do.

Jimin is trained both in hip-hop and contemporary style, he has learned popping and locking and hip-hop since he was in middle school and contemporary for a year, so he is extremely versatile when it comes to dance styles and gives him an extra edge when he is dancing to the same choreo as others ❣️

Someone in the comment aptly said the 3Js bring different styles to the table...Jimin's fluid and sensual style Jhope's Street dance,hiphop style and Jungkookie's powerful,masculine style Jungkook isn't just a powerful performer and dancer, the thing about Jungkook is that he does NOT overdo facial expressions, so much so that it becomes becomes overly dramatic and clownish. Jungkook doesn't overdance or underdance,he doesn't seek attention by doing too much with the choreography so that he will steal the spotlight away from other members and for the camera to focus on him while he makes different cartoonish faces...Nope,that's NOT Jungkook,he will NEVER fake his expressions. Instead, he completely gets into the feel of the song and truly enjoys it. His body and facial expressions come naturally to him and that's what makes his charm pure,powerful and graceful. He knows the way to express the exact emotions needed to execute his movements with elegance. That's why his fancams are the most pleasing to watch for so many of us even tho he may not have the highest number. Jungkook, Jimin and Jhope should have the highest fancams because they bring out magic on stage. Their stage presence is unmatched. Three of them are Godtier! And for those who will comment here by mentioning the other members, sit this one out.!
