He's strong energetic powerful manly as a dancer who always gives his 110% but at the same time he's graceful fluid n flawless. He's always on point as dancing experts have noted. You're right to notice how they are incharge for the whole operation,its been like this for many years now...they monitor everything from lights,sounds,camera to choreo and other dancers,they are extremely detailed and hard working and it can't be stressed enough how independent they are with their own stuff and group activities including all major and minor decisions...company gives suggestions yes but bts are incharge and they don't have to be told to work,they are passionate and professional enough on their own

Exactly. I love watching the behind the scenes and seeing that they are basically an independent team now. At the end of the day, Son Sung Deuk and the other choreographers are there to help not to tell them what to do. Hobi took the role as the stage leader, but of course the others can also give their input

Idk if people forget Jimin’s background or they ignore the fact that Jimin is a versatile dancer, and known as thee best. He’s learned and mastered all kinds of styles of dancing. Like B-boying, street, popping, hip-hop, contemporary/ballet, modern, korean, acrobatic, and more(But I understand him when he said he did a style he’s not used to bc he focused/specialized in contemporary) This is one of many reasons why his dancing is influencing dancers and perception of genres. So many idols have expressed themselves since 2013 to now of how much they admire and respect him and choose him as their role model. 3J’s original dance line. Tae studied dance to film Singularity MV and after that he became a member of the dance line. Hobi wanted to perform a 3J dance. There is another older 3j performance. Jimin studied locing, popping, isolation, b-boy dance styles before he studied contemporary dance, but he always acts like he is lacking. He squeezed two years of training including synchronized dancing into 6 months as the last member of BTS. There is a classic 3J performance I think it was part of a BTS prom. A must view. 🫰🏾 I know you waiting on Patreon members and your voting process, but you are really doing yourselves a disservice if you don’t watch the members first video showcasing their dance style. 3J is my favorite unit of the group, I absolutely love their passion and perfeccionism. I love the behind the scenes of this dance because no one excepts them really knows the amount of work they put on their performances... it's literally a less-than-1-minute dance and it took them more than a dozen times to FILM it but imagine how many times they actually practiced for it, especially Jimin since he's known for practicing way more than everyone else. People often emphasize more on JIMIN'S contemporary dance background cuz he is the only member in the group from that background. But the fact is JIMIN is also trained in Hip-Hop, popping and locking and used to do dance battles. jimin tends to get muscle spasms easily so, that's part of him having to take it easy and then go all out, or like when his neck wouldn't move towards the end. i watch the 3J performance for butter often, and i usually watch it 4 times when i do - focus on all 3, then one time on each member - there's so much detail and unique style each one brings to the same choreo.

You will be surprised by what their dance and practice studio is like. BTS practically uses 1 floor of the Hybe building. They have their own studio for production, and their practice studio has its own resting area and pantry. They can live on their own floor if they want to. They said fewer people have access to BTS floor. You have seen their performance director Son Sungdeuk. He used to be their main choreographer but now holds a higher position. Yes BTS are given more freedom by Hybe and they can decide over things they want to do.

The man that you saw them talking to a good portion of the video with the white shirt black sleeves and a mask is one of their choreographers. His name is Son Sung-deuk, he’s been with the boys since their debut and continues to contribute to their choreographies. He’s highly renowned and praised in Korea. The other choreography Nick is the one that made this specific choreography that the boys were learning. Jimin, Hobi, and Jungkook all had a say in the choreography so it was altered multiple times before they had their final decision. The verse they were dancing to was their butter collab with Meghan Stallion. Since they were making an official video at some point they had their staff there. They’re usually the ones that take care of the boys between show/ songs doing hair, makeup, clothing … etc they’re just making sure the boys are taken care of as much as possible.

no, they were trying to record the official thing to post on the first day, it wasn't simply practice, but they weren't happy with how it turned out, so they took another day to redo it, that's why they have different clothes, cuz it's two separate occasions in which they recorded the video to post they are perfectionists indeed

PLEASE DONT MISTAKE THAT JIMIN IS JUST A CONTEMPORARY DANCER.......JIMIN HAD TRAINING IN HIPHOP FREESTYLE, LOCKING AND POPPING....ALL THE TECHNIQUES..............ITS JUST HIS HUMBLE NATURE WHICH ALWAYS OVERCRITICISE HIMSELF...........HE IS A PERFECTIONIST...The guys holds BEST MALE KPOP DANCER TITLE FOR 3 YEARS in a row by now.........JImins dancing bits are even used by dance researchers as study material.............because jimins dancing technique is really unique...........he incorporates aerobis and acrobatic tecniques within dance that it is very difficult to replicate,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but yeah you wont see him using much energy during practices...........but the main dance video and stage performance he just pops up like fire cracker...........

Son Seung -Duk is the Performance Director of BTS (lead in house choreographer) who has been with the members since the beginning - they have a core leadership team for songwriting, production etc led by Bang Si-Hyuk and including PDOGG, Slow Rabbit, Adora , Hiss Noise, Slow Rabbit, Dj Swivel and Son Seung-Duk. They have work with world famous choreographers but always have the last say on the final choreo. That was in house choreographer Nick Joseph blurred out in this video - and they also work with Sienna Laulau and the Lab of LA for ON, PTD MV and concerts and HOBIPALOOZA, as well as many other world famous choreographers (many you’ve probably seen on shows like World of Dance.

The thing with Jimin is that, he used to do Popping competitions, but once he was in school for modern dance/contemporary he got so locked into it. He studied it for so long, that going back in HipHop and so on doesn't come as "easy" (to him in his mind). So much of our movement are muscle memory. From the clean fluid lines of contemporary, to the hard jagged edges of hip hop dance. It a battle within your body. You can dance multiple genres, and it's a battle of trying not to let another genre of dance(training) bleed into the other, unless that's what you are going for. Jimin knows this has to be hard hitting, and he may feel as if he isn't. Hobi as always been Hiphop and the same goes for JK. All three can be very hard on themselves as perfectionist.

I love watching 3J work. They actually keep filming the video as a whole but then will look back and decide they don't like something and re-record. The dance was J-HOPE'S idea as a bonus video for ARMY. He then trapped Jimin and Jungkook to do the video with him. The choreographer is a US dancer and crazy good. He has his own video talking about working with them. You should also check out the video where BTS hangs out with Megan the Stallion. Its really cute.
