That’s because the I or E in your mbti type isn’t directed oát your social orientation but your dominant cognitive function. So it’s more introversion thinking and extroversion thinking. Even more recently, Jungkook said he can’t really get away from being ISFP, an Adventurer, though several months ago he took the test and got INTP. Yeah, the test isn't even trust worthy, partially because people will often choose what they wish they were like. I think it's pretty common to value the "thinking" types more, because it might feel like an insult to get feeling instead of thinking. People shouldn't feel like that tho, because being a thinking type doesn't mean you're actually more smart and objective than a feeling type.

@@mwah435 idk if you watched BTS's MBTI Lab though but it's their recent MBTI type as of May 2022. Hobi got the INFJ result on their test. And as an introvert myself, i do get my moments as being extroverts as well, just only towards close friends. I have the same energy as Hobi with my group of friends but will have the stereotypical introvert behavior towards acquaintances. So yeah, you can watch BTS's MBTI Lab on KZbin! If you watch the mbti video you can see how excited JK was to be an intp and he said in the vlive that he wants to be an intp, i think mainly he wants to be a T, but imo he’s the epitome of an isfp, i mean ofc we don’t know him personally but based on what we see, i think he’s an F for sure, no wonder he got an isfp again lol. I just can't really agree with their recent MBTI types. I've watched them for a very long time and I also studied a lot about the cognitive functions in detail, from Carl Jung's works to Beebe's, Haas's, Hunziker's, and the others. I still stand by these BTS personality types: Namjoon: ENFP Seokjin: INTP Yoongi: INTP Hoseok: ESFJ Jimin: ENFJ Taehyung: ENFP Jungkook: ISFP Tbh, Taehyung is just the only one I'm a little shaky with (INFP/ENFP). The order of his functions can be quite confusing especially with the changes of his demeanor through the years. I am also considering the aspect of fame and how it may have actually dictated his teenage behavior. I am open for discussions.

Yoongi seems like such an istp to me and about what you said at the end. It doesn’t really make sense. Mbti can’t change and people often mistake the e and I as social orientation when it’s about introverted and extroverted THINKING. Well so many reasons actually. INFJs are intuitive and hardworking and passionate, yes, but they’re actually pretty talented at faking their feelings if they want to be mischievous or witty and stuff. Their ability to manipulate situations to their likings just by using words are beyond imagination of other types and as you know Jhope is completely hopeless when it comes to situations which require lying or pretending or just being simply poker faced. Jhope is most likely an ESFP or ESFJ cause both types are such utter joyful creatures. They actually bring sunshine to their group of friends. As for INFJs, they can socialize and be fun, but then they need their total lone time to recharge their batteries. If being asked to hang out they would say yes, but probably pray for the cancellation inside their heads( not all the time of course;) ). They’re not so touchy-feely and they use their NI to predict and step back if it’s needed, as for Jhope you mostly can see he’s not that into intuition and stuff and he’s absolutely not an introvert. As for Jin, yeah he’s totally an INTP :) If you want we can discuss more about these types ;*

@@maryj6719 I guess the main reason why I thought Jhope could be Infj is because he definitely has a stage/camera persona that could be different from real life. I've heard that his friend have said that in real life he is actually often more reserved and I guess this fits with infj ability to adjust to social situations, but ultimately being introverted. I also think that the infj ability to lie is slightly exaggerated. I'm saying this as an infj, that I don't actually always lie well if I'm nervous or I feel guilty for lying, but I also incorporate that to my lying technique to throw people off (In games btw). I haven't watched bts reality shows that much, so I can't say anything about the intuition and also that's why I'm not really serious about Jhope being an infj. I've noticed tho that in many group situations he does actually rather often just observe and listen to the others, which obviously everyone can do, but I felt like the whole general vibe/image of him could fit an infj. I guess I also felt like it reflected how I act, I can be very talkative, observant or just diconnected chilling at home. So no "hard proof", just a vibe.

@@moonseokjin BTS did whole segment where they talked how their personality type changed i also think that it can't change i have never done it properly using cognitive functions but simply in test t/f is in middle by percentages so i get mostly intp but sometimes infp, also it's not that deep. He's INTJ based on cognitive functions (which is the base of the MBTI theory even though the test they took uses the letters dichotomies). The MBTI type can't change. The test might give a different result if taken different times but if you don't know about the function mistyping is inevitable.

Those test really are not accurate, they just take to consideration what you answer, Taehyung and J Hope are most extravert of the band, they may not open up to people they don’t know very quickly as they used as a teenager, as an extravert myself I get introvert those test, the reason they ask you hoe you would react to situations, most extravert people don’t act extravert around people they don’t know, for many reason when we are younger most of us are very open to making many friends and you attract a lot not real people when you are extravert, so older we get we learn how to act differently around people we know and people we don’t know, so sometimes these test gives you those can of situations.
