That's one explanation, it also tackles the industry. The people born with the silver spoon and money who were handed everything. Where they had to work from the bottom. When they were cut from shows and the Big3 artist were getting fed. Funny thing is they came up and the Big3 companies are no longer the top 3 because of BTS. BIG HIT Entertainment is now the most profitable music company in Korea.

I love how when you understand the song and lyrics other things click like the dance moves. I can relate alot to what the song is talking about even though it's speaking on S.Korean society it mirrors a lot of the same issues that I and my generation face where I live.

It applies for a lot of freelance work, too, like with artists writers, web designers. Clients devalue the work, paying little or nothing at all, sometimes claiming the "exposure" the freelancer gets is fair compensation. FYI, "exposure" doesn't pay the rent.
@curvytangerine
@curvytangerine 4 жыл бұрын
@@PatriclesG totally true. creative freelance work is being devalued nowadays because clients think they can "do it themselves" using some dinky shareware or site-builder (depending on what they want) and it will look fine, therefore why pay some chump hundreds of dollars??? (pro-tip: it will not look fine.) can you tell I used to do graphic design freelance work? LOL after years of not working for myself, I'm back to being self-employed now, in the business of editing court reports. thankfully, court reporters are by and large MUCH more generous.

hey guys! JJ here!! Basically this song is one big "OK BOOMER" hahaha When he talks about sam-po-sedae and oh-po-sedae, those were lyrics from another one of BTS's songs called Dope (you've reacted to it before hehe) Baepsae and Dope are alike when it comes to talking about the struggles of the youth when it comes to living their life/dreams or technically NOT living them. Hope you guys also react to SUGA's interlude! Love the reaction as usual! Looking forward to the next one! We purple you! EDIT!!! I loooove it when you guys start humming along to the song and dancing along to it!! BTS really makes great songs! Sonically and lyrics-wise. I get so excited watching your journey to stanning them!

The interesting part is that even when you don’t know what they’re saying you feel the intention in they’re songs. Explained videos by DKDKTV and others are so important. It bridges the gap for international fans to not only understand the songs but Korean culture as well. BTS are on another level of conciseness, they are woke!

not a korean native speaker at all but when RM said in DOPE "3-po-sedae? 5-po-sedae? well i like the number 6 how about 6-po-sadae" I found it really interesting since 6-po-sedae didn't exist so I took it like RM made up one and kinda said "let's make our own generation (one that isn't hopeless and bad). Idk, my silly take. Anyways bts with their amazing lyricism, social awareness, amazing music production and talented members are big reasons why armys love them and why they got to where they are now! I love BTS for this, their lyrics are critical and not subtle at all they don't hide their opinions and since day 1 have stayed true to their name. "BTS" or bangtan sonyeodan translates as "bulletproof boys" they explained when they debuted that they wanted their music to be like a bulletproof vest that protects their generation. It's crazy cause they said that in 2013 but 7 years into their carreer you take a look at their discography and that is exactly what they've done. BTS kept their word, so proud to be their fan

Just LOVE your reactions...and I love watching you all grow on your journey with BTS by learning the meaning behind their songs...and understanding the culture. I love how they are able to bring the sarcasm and contempt of the lyrics to their dance.... even before you read the translations....just watching their Dance....or even their body language (Untold truth)....you absoLUTEly have a feel for what the song is about....THAT is artistry...and it is rare. BTS is in a league all their own....they are so beyond/above the 'kpop machine'. We are blessed to be here to witness this as this type of artist(ry) comes around once in a blue moon....just my personal opinion.

BTS speaks the truth in everything they say and that is one of the many reasons I love them so much. The high cost of living and lower wages is the same problem we have here in the states as well. It's sad to see it in other places. The problems everyone faces now is because of the previous generation that has become so stingy and greedy and makes it harder for the rest. It is time for that to change and once again why BTS is so loved. They put their heart and soul into everything that they do and want everyone to speak up, to have a voice.

I'm subscribed only to 3 BTS reactors, each bring a different perspective and vibe. Kito Abashi focuses on the music and performing art as a whole and he is extra AF. Hey Charlie has an infectious laugh and quirky personality and he delves deep into the MV theories and BU. He also reacts to BTS funny compilations. You guys dig the dance choreography and overall performance. I love that you watch the MV then the dance practice in one sitting. But all of you love BTS, recognize their many talents, take the time to understand the lyrics, and recruit for Army, which I appreciate. Much 💜

I hear a lot of parallels between South Korean boomers/economic culture and US boomers/economic culture here. So glad that BTS makes songs that I can identify with even though I live on the opposite side of the world.

The subtitles for the second video are in Portuguese (my native language, I'm brazilian), so most people weren't understanding but I was lol. I love the way BTS criticizes, they are brilliant and every day they prove to me that I love the right artists 💜 I also love your reactions, amuse and inspire me whenever I need to, so... thanks 🥰

and now u see why this my favorite song. this song is it. like... its all about "bruh its our fault you're hogging all the money and making shit nearly impossible to aquire?" and its like yea they base it off what they experience in SK but it's happening in America (and im sure other countries) as well! I think another important note is not only is the problem in America the money, its also the morals, rights, privileges of everyone and young people have risen up time and time again to change the stuff the older gen doesnt want to change. the fight for rights is forever ongoing, i think this song really displays that and how altho it seems endless, you cannot stop trying to change things. the second people stop pushing issues, the second those issues are left to the dust. if you keep bringing things up and don't let anyone silence you, you can help things to be better. BTS is truly what this whole world needs, every society needs to listen up and truly take part in changing for the better.

I love the way BTS speak out against the unfairness of their society, but at the same time remain completely respectful. They are an example we should all follow. Only if you speak out and stand up to injustice in a thoughtful and peaceful way can you effect change. The world we live in is a scary place and every single one of us can make a change, small actions can make a BIG difference. The first thing we can all do, no matter where in the world we live, is to go out and vote for people who care more for the next generations than themselves. And on that note, I end my rant and - MIC DROP!

A lot of BTS upbeat songs are like that Go go, Anpanman. they sound upbeat but actually have dark deep meanings
