Crush sang at Hobis Sister Wedding that's how close they are he is also friends with Hobis Rapper friend Zico, he is known for OST's and slow R&B. Hobi showed him his Album, before anyone else while Crush was visiting from the Military, and he was so moved and inspired, that he showed Hobi the Draft of his comeback Song (Crush was in the Military till recently), that they both worked on the Song together. They are gushing about each other all over Social Media, Crush even gave Hobi the big bow on TV to show his love and respect.

Sexy Nukim is definitely more alt than a lot of mainstream kpop ears are used to, but I LOVED it. This was my first taste of Balming Tiger, and they are so impressive. They're like an artist collective thing, with two members visibly in the song, and others doing other stuff in the song and video too as far as I know. Omega Sapien was the first dude and he feels like gravel is rap/singing into my brain, in a good way (but it's somehow smooth af as well). The second artist is Mudd the Student, and I loved what he did as well. Like how can you throw a voice crack into a rap and make it good? I had to google his age because I was like is that the actual person or is that an actor, because surely that kid needs a note from his mam to be in the video (he's 22)? I loved that these more indie kind of artists chose to work with RM too, when as we all know a lot of people still label more mainstream kpop artists as less authentic, or like lesser musicians. I just feel like it's an absolute compliment to him as an artist (I know he' super respected in the music scene and everything, just an observation based on the generic stereotyping you always see in kpop). I love how well it all blends together too, like there were some very distinct vibes happening but it worked so well. Agh I love it. I'm also OBSESSED with Crush and J-Hope. Crush is an awesome artist and the energies matched so well. The song is so good. It's like funky and smooth, and kinda jazzy with the big band vibes. It's gorgeous. I also lost my life at the "did you see my bag". 😂Crush did a video driving around with J-Hope in the passenger seat and having a bit of a chat about the collab, their admiration of eachother, and it's so nice. It seeeeems like the start of a series for Crush, but I'm not sure.

I love Sexy Nukim because it’s so original and unique. It’s a concept and delivery I haven’t seen and RM looks like he had a blast. I am utterly intrigued with the Balming Tiger artistic collective now for being willing to try fresh thing it fit RM so well. JHope and Crush for together like PB&J. It’s the catchy vibe I didn’t know I needed. I have found in each of this years BTS collabs they did a great job not overshadowing people but just gelling so well.

BOPS! Both of these songs are bops! The vibes are so different, Sexy Nukim is so smooth and something to chill out to, and 'Rush Hour is funky and makes you want to move! These South Korean artists are doing music and visuals on a level unlike what's happening in the West right now! It's beyond K-Pop, and when BTS members are involved, that's how it should be. The dance practice was released today. Crush is amazing. He was away for 2 years in the military. There is a crush blackvox with Hobi. Crush sang at J-Hope's sister's Wedding. He is a Korean R&B singer. Has done OSTs including Beautiful from Goblin. He and J-Hope gel so well together. RM was so hot in Sexy Nukim!

yeah, crush is like, one of the most loved artists in Korea, and BTS have been looking up to his music since day 1! (jk even did a cover of one of his songs several years ago before they became HUGE)! He is known for his INSANE vocal abilities in OSTs and ballads, but he also works a lot with hip-hop artists (see: Dean and Zico) and he loves to experiment with different sounds! I'm so glad he worked with hobi cause besides the music they share that same quirky, positive and creative energy, they fit so well with each other!

Yay was looking forward to your response to these! I frickin' love "Sexy Nukim" - reminds me of trip hop of the early 2000s. SO cool and such a great fit for Joon. I love his more experimental side. Balming Tiger are an artistic collective of music, film, etc. Then "Rush Hour"...! So funky and a super-fun vibe - Crush is a great vocalist and so good to see Hobi dance again in this after not for Jack in the Box. I love how Hobi's rap is so tied to movement - his dancing really laid the ground for his rapping. Crush has some great collabs with Key and Epik High.

Crush is such an amazing artist on his own and he has worked with alot of equally amazing artists. My first time hearing Crush was actually in Key's (from Shinee/soloist) song One of Those Nights (their voices compliment each other SOOOOO well) and I had the same reaction you did in this collab when I heard so I had to hear more. I definitely recommend you check out his music (including the one I mentioned.) You won't be disappointed at all. 🥰

An interviewer with Balming Tiger about Sexy Nukim said these things: “‘SEXY NUKIM’ is a group single by Balming Tiger, released in about a year and a half. BTS’ RM featured, and this is the first single featured by a guest other than a member of the team,” Balming Tiger say. “The theme of the song is that the artist’s ‘sexiness’ is not something that can be bought with money, and the track contains a mind set that wants to be ‘one and only’ with their unique personality, not just pursuing material things. Balming Tiger wants to show the world ‘Asian Sexy’ and ‘Asian Cool’ through music and videos of their new songs.” What is ‘Sexy Nukim’ about? It’s literally a “Sexy Nukim (“Feeling” in Korean)”. Two very simple-looking words met and a strange title was born. This word also touches the artistic ideal that we think. We think that every new creation appears when you twist something familiar. I think our art is also the aesthetics of twisting, just as the two words we thought were familiar meet and give a strange feeling. The song makes the concept of “sexy” appear as it appears or has a different meaning. It could be external sexiness, it could be internal confidence, the lyrics say what “sexiness” is. Crush is about his R&B, Soul, Jazz for real for real. Honestly though he's so versatile and PROLIFIC! Between 2019 to 2020 before he went to the military my guy gave us a full length album, a mini album with duets with female singers he respects, and like 4 singles or something. 2:10 that was literally my face the moment that deep voice came in lmao 🤣you were right about the song and MV being this weird-genius kind of thing, when I first saw the video I immediatly understood why RM would go for a collab like this (and tbh it shouldn't be surprising at this point that when it's not the "big name" collabs they always bring spotlight to really talented niche artists) Also! about that move you mention (20:25) I thought it was from Chicken Noodle Soup 'cause you know, our boy is so proud of that song and is almost like, part of his trademark for people who know him more for his solo stuff, but Mic Drop is also a good take, tbh I didn't remember it had that piece of choreo in common so it still makes sense. Namjoon was actually supposed to stop the bike before he hit the car but Namjoon being Namjoon ended up running it over and it was decided to keep it in rather than reshoot the scene. I think it's one of those subtle things that make quite a big difference overall.

As for Rush Hour that song is such a bop!! At first I didn’t know if I like the beginning lalala’s but it is growing on me.. Apparently this is the first song he released since beginning back from military service so his verse when talking needing to sing because he hasn’t for 2 years that is why… I can’t choose between what is my favorite collabs. They are all very unique and different and for different vibes. They are all so good. I recommend reacting or watching interviews with crush about Rush Hour. He talks a lot of Jhope (IU’s Pallette and SBS radio (I think this is the radio channel)). Jhope and Crush are cute and I love their chemistry.

@CaitlinBenson - I love both songs. With Sexy Nukim, I would describe the sound as Alternative Rap. Very creative and opens a new avenue for the medium of Rap. I love the vibe. Namjoon slayed - he's so polished and he referred to BTS in his line "because you heard about my team". The music video really makes sense when you think about it from the perspective of how you think about "sexy", what is sexy to you, how do you see yourself as sexy. With Rush Hour - loved both Crush and Hobi. Right from the first time I listened to Rush Hour, the sound reminded me of Jamiroquai - a mix of funk with acid jazz. Hobi referred to BTS thru his dance moves. It's more than just Mic Drop. On Twitter folks have analyzed and show how Hobi brought in several BTS dance moves.
