The are lyrical geniuses . but i see this songs is referring to how Army showed them how to lover themselves and this has them giving Army the best of them by their music and performances, and also teaching us to love ourselves. BTS never stops delivering heartwarming heartfelt songs.... from the melodies to the lyrics and their stories.... it’s a whole complete package.... their looks, charm etc are just the bonus...I truly wish them the best of love.... the best of happiness... their health... never ending list... fact: I was admitted for 24hr observation due to my blood pressure... the admitting doctor refused to discharge me and it shot up my blood pressure sky rocket 271/142 🙄 I played this song with my eyes closed and placed myself at the most recent concert at the RoseBowl... 10mins later my blood pressure dropped down to 124/76 😅 jimin’s angelic voice calmed my soul... so I took up my second option of getting discharged.... called down to the ED and requested an attending to discharge me... since the 24hr observation area I was admitted to was an extension of the ED😅 thank goodness I used my brain for once.. 💜 Happy 3rd Birthday to your daughter DT💜

I went the love myself concert and this was the finale and I completely lost it. I'm not a crier, but I was singing my heart out and crying to the sky singing to BTS "You've shown me I have reasons I should love myself!" and it was absolutely true. I will always be grateful to BTS for giving me reasons to love myself.

If you saw the crowd they were holding up banners. At almost the end of each concert the members start singing this or another song that has a special connection between ARMY and BTS. Just before the song a message appears on the jumbotron that reads ARMY TIME. And everyone in the crowd has a small banner that they hold up. The message is different at each concert, even in the same cities. An Incredible group of ARMYs makes them and distributes them. So the banner is truly a surprise to BTS. It's an incredibly powerful moment for all! The members often take a picture back stage after their concerts holding the banner. How could anyone not love these guys? In the 2019 Chicago concerts I went to the jumbotron also said ARMY SING. For the life of me I can't remember what song right now, but they put the lyrics up so that we could sing the Korean parts in Korean. The shocked then loving looks on the members faces was priceless. 💜🤟 JK as he often does did cry. Our sweet bunny.🐰

This is why I really love BTS. Their songs hit you directly in your Heart. They wrote songs like they know your personal struggles, they wrote songs that are very relatable which makes it more amazing. This song specifically is one of my most favorite song by BTS or any other artist I have listened to. They don't just tell you to love yourself cause they know it's a long time process (for lifetime) they didn't specifically say a thing that we should do on how to love ourselves cause they know that we have different methods on loving ourselves. Like what Namjoon has said in their love yourself concert, "What is loving myself? What is loving yourself? I don't know? Who can define their own way of loving ourselves? It is our mission to define our methods of loving ourselves" The lyrics paints a beautiful image in our head. They showed that there is more to life. That we should learn how to accept our mistakes and flaws. Our past mistakes, our present and future are all part of us and we should accept it. It's so strange because BTS certainly isn't the first group of people I've ever heard say "love yourself." But for some reason when they said it, I *heard* it all the sudden. I internalized it. I practiced it. And I changed. I used to keep these journals that were full of mean things about myself--punishing thoughts that I told myself all the time. I threw them all away a month after BTS came into my life and started surrounding myself with the boys, their music, and ARMY. I am happier than I've ever been. Truly. At my core. But I still can't figure out how they were able to help me do that for myself when nothing else was. The way they said it maybe? The sincerity? The fact that it came from someone who I felt like really cared (despite them not even knowing me somehow)? Maybe singing this along with tens of thousands of others at Citi Field did it? I don't have an answer. But I've had incredible growth since they came into my life and I guess that tangible proof is more important than the how it came to pass. :)

I've seen BTS in concert twice in Chicago and this song was the final song of the Love Yourself tour. It was such a great way to end a positive uplifting show. The last song during the Speak Yourself tour was Mikrokosmos which was equally great. I play Love Yourself in the car on the way to work if I'm having a rough or down morning🙂
