there are *some* times where bts mumble rap but mostly they don't lmaoooo. actually jhope's verse has a little mumble rap in the middle where he was building it up and overall in bts jhope mumble raps the most (but still.. it's not that often he usually has proper diction). rap mon and suga didn't mumble rap at all in this song and they usually don't. their diction is very emphasized in their songs generally..especially rap mon's.

Btw I saw this song live and it was absolutely the best song for me at the entire show and the whole atmosphere was SO hype. The bts rappers were even more hype and water was gettin sprayed in the crowd it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life and probably for many others

I don't believe it's mumble rap, though I could be wrong. Also, RM, J-Hope, and Suga each have their own rapping styles, though RM and Suga maintain a continuous style while J-Hope is constantly experimenting. RM has a very poetic style; he's constantly using metaphors, similes, and other common Korean and American sayings. Suga is straight up. If he doesn't like you, he'll just lay it on you with no strings attached. He's a get to the point kinda guy. J-Hope's style is always changing due to not having any experience prior (while Suga and RM were underground rappers before debuting), however he does maintain a fun, teasing kinda of tone. His voice is..fit for trap-like music? His verses have always been my favorite :-)

I don't know how much struggle BTS had before their debut, but based on the lyrics in this song I can totally picture how many people discouraged them by saying all this shitty things and so many haters who made fun of BTS simply bcz they are Kpop boyband, who are often treated as not serious musicians & made fun of by underground hip hop musicians. The lyrics in this song say everything they had to endure as an idol boy band, and I can tell how much effort and practice they put into their career every single day just to prove everyone who made fun of them that they were wrong. In fact, when I heard the lyrics, it made me so sad they had to go through so much shit before they suceeded.

Thank you so much for reacting to this! It's one of my favorite songs to listen to when I need inspiration and self confidence. I love all the rappers from BTS but Suga a.k.a Agust D is so fire with his lyrics and rapping style. Rap Monster is very intelligent and he likes to talk about social issues and use metaphors in his raps. J-Hope's style is so fun and upbeat to listen to. It's kind of like trap style if that makes sense. But.... Suga is so intense and emotional with his lyrics and just the overall sound of his voice so I would have to say his was my favorite. It's not Mumble Rap. 한글 (Hangul/The Korean Language) is very different from English. They don't put emphasis or stress on syllables like English does. So it sounds very different to native English speakers. But honestly, 한글 is perfect for rapping and really suits it. Much better than English. They don't have to pause awkwardly or stretch out the pronunciation of a word like you would in English.
