The Snickers is part of a fictional storyline created by BTS. (JHope/snickers, Jimin/water, Suga/fire, Jin/flower, V/phones etc)This fictional storyline runs throughout some of BTS’ MVs so you kind of have to start from the beginning to piece some of the meaning and connections in the MV’s together, and warning it will hella confusing for newbies lol. And to sum it up “Fake Love” is not necessarily about another person and their fake love, it’s also about how we feel about ourselves. (Notice they look at themselves in the mirror often like talking to themselves). Basically they’re saying if you’re not true to yourself or love yourself first, then love of any kind or for anyone will always be fake. Basically following this album trilogy’s (3 albums) theme of “Love Yourself” where in the last album you realize you’re the one you should love and accept the most before you can truly love anyone else.

Fake Love is of my fav BTS songs. Once you get into K pop there is no turning back. They got it all. Some other groups to check out are MAMAMOO, EVERGLOW, DREAMCATCHER, (G)-idle, KARD, Jessi, CL...and many more. Right and yes as a focus type and curious person (dk if that makes sense) and (Army ;) ) I also try to pay attention to not only the lyrics but also what's going on in the music video and how they relate. And if I can't figure it out well, only then will I waft over to an explanation video or something that helps me get the meaning. I thought I was the only one who thought this way. When they got to the 'I don't know why' you can see them make pointless comments about the scene. Examples would be why he's surrounded by the Snickers and whatnot and whether or not he was comfortable and whether or not they were melted. And a crude joke that I prefer not to mention. Wasn't even laughing at that point.

Which only makes me further believe that they're only doing it for views. Usually a video is clicked if it's BTS or BlackPink.
