Thanks for this reaction!! My reaction to it was: Oh my gosh (x4 times), is finally out. That freaking thumbnail!! I love everything about it. The aesthetics, connections, symbolism, and theories in the music video. The amazing dancing, singing, and rapping. BTS and their amazing visuals. All the members look so cool, handsome, emo, and rebellious. Love their clothing and hairstyles. I am so sick and not sick of this Fake Love music video that make me feel attacked by BTS. This make me want to cry. Everything about it is so heartbreaking and angst. My heart was racing and I really felt the emotions of the music video. There was sorrow and pain. I feel so emotional and get chills watching this music video. The part where the music stops and Jungkook was just walking towards a waterfall thing and then touch the sand that turn into petal. And then Jimin is shown as water fall behind him and then Yoongi smiling when there a fire in the room. My heart felt sad and broken. I want to cry, but can’t. I was on the verge of crying, but couldn’t cry. Also the lyrics was just so sad and angst. The part where Taehyung says the words: Try to erase myself and make me your doll. I felt so emotional, that metaphor is just so haunting and daunting. There was also the “Save Me” letter on the glass behind Taehyung in dark room with flickering lights. That part where everything was a mess and broken and it caused by some kind of explosive or something and Jin was there. Hoseok laying on a pile of chocolate candy. Namjoon looking at his own relflection. I just want to cry for all the scenes in the music video. BTS is just so amazing. The things they do is so inspirational, motivational and meaningful. They talk about the good and bad things in out life and our society. 😊😭😮😯😵👏🏻👍🏻❤️💜💖💝💐✨

so my theory is: jimin is the boy who was sacrificed in omelas. If you read the story of the omelas, it says that a kid was locked in a basement and people used to come to see him. In fake love, you can see jimin in a basement looking up towards jungkook who looks at him through a glass window. In spring day mv, there is a clear representation of jimin's sacrifice, he hangs shoes on the tree (which symbolizes the death of a person) about suga and fire, in jk's short film begin, you can see that a pianoand painting are burning. The piano symbolizes yoongi. Everything around the painting burns but not the painting itself. This symbolizes "The Crying Boy", a real life painting thats supposedly cursed and it brings bad things to the people who own it, such as burning of houses. Real life cases of this painting have been foubd where the houses are destroyed but the painting isnt. This corelates to the fire mv where suga burns the hooded person, i need u mv where he tries to kill himself by burning his room but fails, because acc to the curse, he himself cant burn. and now finally fake love mv, where apparently it looks like he doesnt want to kill himself, but rather discover this curse of his. im not completely done analyzing the whole timeline but this is a little bit of what i have till now.
