I have a question. That part where theyre sitting on the beds or the restroom sceme with Jimin. Thats their dorm too?? Its doesnt look like their dorm though, it looks like a hotel room. Jungkook is the director. And Tae is the visual director. RM, Suga, and J-Hope wrote the lyrics. JK decided that the MV would-be recorded in their house, some elements that appear in the clip are from their own home. Jungkook revealed that he filmed the song’s music video. Also, the members were involved in the album’s “overall production: concept, composition, design, etc.” This song has lots of meaning. They show a clip of V staring at the stadium they were supposed to perform at. They end the song in an empty stadium. The boys are all dressed up and performing, but they don't have their fans around.

A lot of the members actually admitted how upset and depressed they were that the tour they worked hard for months prior had to get canceled. And these boys truly live for their tours. It’s the time they are the happiest.. when they can spend time with their fans. (Their new song Telepathy talks about this) They really love their fans a lot and have been honest and open about how much army has impacted their lives and helped them grow, but it goes both ways. The relationship between fan and artist here is a really special one. They had an online concert not too long ago where one member cried a lot on stage at the end of the concert because he didn’t expect to see fans on screens in front of them. And these boys work so hard, they were excited to perform for us after their album Map of the Soul 7 release, but then had to adjust to performing for empty venues. They shared that seeing army cheer in person really gives them the energy to keep going on stage too. Another member actually shared something personal in one of their reality shows, when he was having a heart to heart with another member. He said he got really depressed having to constantly record performing to an empty crowd and that the reason why he interacted with fans online so often during the pandemic is so that he could check to see if he was still loved. Because seeing fans sincere expression in person is what really made him feel loved, but suddenly not having that became a huge loss for him. So that time in the first months of the pandemic was really hard on them mentally and physically. All of them

The last black and white scene was actually filmed after their two-day online concert last month, they wanted to show a concert with no audience, but if you pay attention to the background there are lights (lightsticks called Armybomb) in the seats, those represent fans that were supposed to be at the concert. For this album BTS had complete control over the creative process, that´s why Jungkook is credited as the Director of the music video.

Their whole international tour was cancelled so they did a full online 2 day concert in an empty stadium which included amazing choreography and mind blowing visuals back in October for their fans. I personally got up early and watched it while snuggled up in bed and honestly it was some of the most amazing and emotional performances of the most talented and heart warming musicians live that I had ever seen. I can’t wait for this pandemic to be over so that I can finally see them in person 💜💜

Corona didn't just cancel a show for BTS, they were going to go on another world tour but each venue was being cancelled one by one until it was completely cancelled, and yah V (the guy in the car) was looking at the stadium they performed in back in 2019 and where they would've performed again if corona wasn't around

The guy on the left explaining his thoughts on the MV is so ON POINT! Especially when he talked about when V was looking at the stadium whilst driving, man, you really got the idea! BTS used to do their sold-out concerts in stadiums, and this year they were supposed to have their stadium tour once again but due to Covid-19 it has been cancelled. BTS said during one of their interviews that they prepared so hard for the concert and when they were informed that it got cancelled they all cried and felt so devastated. Performing on stage is their passion, their profession, it’s their whole life goal, it’s what they love to do-I can just imagine how heartbroken they were... 😭 but the guys are doing great and all we can do is cheer each other up, BTS x ARMYs! The lights on the seats at the end part are actually ARMY bombs... the official light stick of BTS fans. During concerts these light sticks are connected and controlled thru bluetooth, lights up with different colors, in sync with the music. It's a way for the fans to also interact with the members by waving them and even making giant waves throughout the stadium. The ARMY bomb has become the representation of us, the fans. So putting them on vacant seats is basically them putting us where we can't be at this time. They have also done this during their online concerts this pandemic. (ARMY, by the way, is the official name for BTS fans) I am proud of these seven boys, proud not only of what they have achieved but also of the sincere, positive messages they impart thru their music. You are absolutely right about Dynamite and Life Goes On touching the same kinda thing from different sides! BTS said it themselves; Dynamite and Life Goes On came from the same thought process, from the same place, but in the summer they wanted to release something more lighter and energetic, that's why Dynamite was released as a single in August. This time, Life Goes On is a little bit heavier, and like you yourselves said, it kinda mixes the melancholy with happiness. But ultimetly, both songs want to convey the same comfort and hope to the fans, that's why they were put as the opening (Life Goes On) and closing (Dynamite) of the album.

This mv is very special becoz it is very personal. BTS fans know all the places shown in the mv. They shot everything from their dorm and that stadium v looking at is where they always start and end their world tour. And the last scene where they hold 2 days virtual concert recently. This song is for the fans about their true feelings. Yeah they cancelled all their world tour becoz of pandemic. The tickets sold out and in some places it is about go on sale and then everything cancelled. This whole album is very simple which is unique and stand out. Yep - 2020 was the year that BTS was to perform a stadium-only concert tour in the USA and Europe. COVID-19 wiped out their tour. But the ultimate message is not that the tour was cancelled - it's that they have each other and that THEY.ARE.HEALTHY. Hopefully we will be able to run to the future in 2021.

The stadium where Taehyung (V) who was the member driver, was looking at is Jamsil Olympic Stadium. That’s the last place where they had their last concert at the end 2019 and it was supposed to be the place where their first show was supposed to take place in the Map of the Soul tour they had planned at the beginning of the year. The entire tour was pretty much cancelled so that is very nostalgic to look at. As a fan, it’s sad that we can’t have concerts but them as artists and this being their job, I can only imagine it hit them 1000 times harder when they had to cancel their tour, a tour that they had been planing for over a year ago. This video definitely has a sense of healing and comfort as this year has been just horrible.

The stadium in the mv was the stadium were they had their last concert before the pandemic. The concert part of the mv was the online map of the soul: one concert place where they had concert few weeks ago.

This mv and SONG lyrics are deep.. So relatable with now in these pandemic... They so sincere.. Not too much.. No too show off.. Just showing what they feel as bts group through these pandemic... They can't perfomance in stadium tour, cannot having fun outside just showing how they facing life goes on in these pandemic but still can be doing something and can be connected with the limitation...

10:25 yes i agree with Noah!its a mixed feeling kind of song..they felt sad because the tour got cancelled but at the same time with this pandemic they all got to spend time with each other,take a break for a while from their hectic life..

Im in love with this song and MV, the song is just so catchy and it kinda has the R&B feel to it. The MV is just so sweet and innocent looking, it is just the lads going on about their normal lives and just doing what they love, U also love just how laid back the MV is. This song is a song that we all needed to hear especially after the year we have had and still having, the message os so thoughtful and inspiring that no matter what happens ‘Life Goes On’ as normals as possible and you just have to keep being you also the song has also reminded me to ‘Just Remember’ that ‘Life Goes On’ and we just have to keep doing what we do and keep being happy, also the beat of the song has a calming effect that can help anyone to relax. I just love how thoughtful the BTS lads are, always thinking of us ARMYs and making sure we are always smiling and feeling happy. Thankyou BTS

They’ve had to cancel their whole world tour. They were supposed to have around 40 concerts. I don’t remember the exact number. But it was really bad! BTS and ARMY struggled a lot. This is why this album is so healing and we’re looking forward to the days we can meet again.

Yes, they had sold out stadiums not only in Korea but here in US and all over the world - I was gonna go on one of those concerts last May 😭😭😭
