I’m not ok TikTok but if you keep posting here I’m yours! I don’t know what you’ve reacted to before but I have a copy paste of suggestion for you!! If you like rap you should check out DAECHITWA by Agust D (Suga’s solo rap), CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP by jhope ft Becky G. (it’s all filmed in 3 shots and all the effects you see are real), and PERSONA by RM to round out the rapper introduction (3 rappers). Then I’d recommend MIC DROP, CYPHERS 3&4, and DDAENG EXPLAINED (the wordplay is insane and you have to experience it). For fun end this series with the vocal line rapping DDEANG. Then I’d dive into recent live performances of their older music. And for the vocal line (4 vocalists)-Jungkook is the lead vocal but they are all incredible. Tae has a low, dark, rich voice (SINGULARITY, WINTER BEAR)-Jimin lives in gorgeous high notes (FILTER, SERENDIPITY)-Jin is airy and ethereal (MOON, EPIPHANY)-and Jungkook is a RnB BEAST in my mind but he does it all (MY TIME, STILL WITH YOU, EUPHORIA)-he’s particularly well known on Twitter for covers of songs like NEVER NOT and 10,000 HOURS) I like PAPER HEARTS, WE DON’T TALK ANYMORE, and PURPOSE. Check out their solo work as you’d like but also you have to watch vocal line LIVE performances like PIED PIPER, DIMPLE, THE TRUTH UNTOLD, ZERO O’CLOCK, and HOUSE OF CARDS. (Another reminder: live and subtitles. They are insane live.) Next I’d suggest watching some super significant songs/ moments like: British ARMY surprising BTS by singing their song in Korean when it wasn’t scheduled (WEMBLEY YOUNG FOREVER) and LY:TEAR (context: the group contemplated disbanding and one of the rappers wrote the beat and they all wrote their own verses). I mean they pretty much always write their own shit but just FYI! Also remember to search for lyrics on live performances, you can always find a fan who has done it here on YT. To round out your introduction you should watch an INTRO TO BTS video-there are a few you’ll find w/ tons of views that are a must since they’re all so freakishly talented. Kind of remind me of Wu-Tang, obviously the music is different but rather for their collection of people who have perfected their craft. And they grew together. The first two members RM and SUGA (originally underground rappers) have been together almost 10 years. They were meant to debut as a hip hop group until they added singers. Jungkook, the youngest, was like 13-14 when he joined (15 in Korean age) and the members practically raised him. They even went to his high school entrance and graduation ceremonies-they’re now between the ages of 23-28.

I know everyone has their thoughts so here’s mine ~ To be honest this song speaks for itself from what they’ve said this is their first full self written produced album and this MV which Jungkook filmed himself in majority of their real house. The song talks about how the global nations stopped when COVID19 started and trying adjust by keep spreading positivity despite the life changes which include not being able to see the excitement & meeting of fans; all you can do is cry & smile through the whole music video seeing them enjoying each others’ company and relaxing while we fans’ ask ourselves what happens next once the group goes on a long temporary hiatus? Seeing Suga & Hobi actually soft rap singing after such a long time since SOPE (SUGA x J-Hope duo) 👀 Taehyung driving looking over at the 1988 Seoul Olympics Complex Stadium where they were supposed start their next World Tour missing ARMY since the outbreak happened they had to cancel it but they had prepared online concert called #BangBangCon where they performed their track setlist. Our director JK even added his GCF within the video of them having a good time being happy and watching the MV all I can think of how close its getting to Jin & Suga possible enlistments and how it’s going to effect kpop communities along with members? But I heard awhile back that there was a bill passed that gives 2 year extension before they have to enlist because of the huge contribution BTS has done for their country & worldwide. I do hope they can take a proper rest before continuing on solo projects; At the same time we cant stop being worried 😟 for their safety or health as the pandemic continues even though they’re right “Life Goes On” but it doesn’t make it any easier. Since I couldn’t stop tearing up I wasn’t able to review the MV properly so im still working on gathering my thoughts; I will say the soft tempo giving me SpringDay and OST Heartbeat vibes. *Also, if anyone watched **#TXT** **#WeLostTheSummer** MV they have very similar meaning behind their song in a more upbeat colorful way with choreography* #BTS #LifeGoesOn #GetWellSoonYoongi

I just want to know how long it took yall to realize that the stadium they showed while Tae was driving was Jamsil where they were supposed to perform for the stadium tour that got cancelled cuz of covid. Because to me that was a really poignant shot in the mv. A tangible, visible reminder of the thing they love the most (performing at venues surrounded by fans) that they could no longer do.
