BTS is the only music artist to chart on the billboard hot 100 in 3 different languages (Korean, English, and Japanese). Japan is a huge music market so BTS will re-record a lot of their songs in Japanese, not to mention all their original Japanese songs. BTS has 5 Japanese album currently.

Would love to get one but aren't they like between US120 - 150? Heard this a couple yrs ago and converted to our money - over $300. Either way - my broke arse can't afford one when you include shipping + duty to the Caribbean Islands. Love you BTS but not THAT much 🤣🤣

Lemme tell you getting tickets is like the hunger games. I went to the Vegas D-2 show and buying tickets was so stressful lol but it’s so worth it. It felt like I was in a fever dream❤ Also, they used to distract us with fireworks while they exited the stage. You have to go someday because seeing the purple ocean in person is pure magic

I went to D-3 in LA we ended up getting our tickets through a third-party vendor because TM sold out instantly! As you said it was all worth it. Fortunately, I've seen them live in concert 4 times so I can get through their Military enlistment because in 2025 its going to be a party and getting a ticket is going to be more than a blood bath. 😆💜

@@dinaarmymom9145 haha true I can only imagine how quickly they’ll sell out. I was in queue for their busan concert and as soon as I got in there was around 55k people ahead of me. I got down to 15k people after waiting around 2 hours and then the site crashed 😭

Oh no sounds like you’ve had rough times getting tickets :/ I went D-3 in Vegas and it was my first time trying for any BTS concert and it was the smoothest process for me. I got 2 tickets then went back in the queue and got 2 more all in maybe 30 minutes

Not only were they speaking in Japanese, they were also singing and rapping the Japanese version of their songs, except for Dope, which I think they sang the original version in Korean. They used to release Japanese versions compilation albums with some of their songs and a few original tracks like Don't Leave Me (a bop and a half), Let Go, Crystal Snow and Stay Gold. They mostly release original tracks lately like Your Eyes Tell and Film Out. Also yes their live arrangements, especially when they have a live band like in this clip, bring the performance to the next level in my humble opinion. The energy of the live instruments makes it all sound so much bigger and cohesive that it gives me an adrenaline rush every time I crank up these clips of live performances at max volume. Some of these weren't even my fav songs from their catalogue and seeing these performances made me find a whole new appreciation for these tracks, like they all make a lot more sense to me.

I lived in Japan for 13 years and all the songs they did in Japanese which are many including albums I know every word but not the Korean version. At concerts in US I'm all fkd up singing the wrong lyrics in the wrong language LOL

They recently got ranked as the group with the best stage presence by a huge kpop channel. Shes known to not like ARMY but shes very blunt and honest. Ofc their individual stage presence differ (Jhope is always the best for many) but NO ONE can deny the power and energy they come with as a group. They're legit the most hard working group in the entire industry.

The army bombs (lightsticks) are bluetooth! when you're in the venue the production team controls them and change the light colour, turn them on and off to make waves etc, it's kind of awesome :) The songs you just heard are all pretty big hits of theirs and if I'm not mistaken they did all the japanese versions here, Kah-razy 💜

BTS is like the biggest non japanese artist in Japan and one of the most famous acts there overall, Japan is a huge market for them so they have many songs in Japanese, most of their songs have japanese versions and have full japanese albums, japanese osts for dramas, I'm just waiting for them to sing an anime opening and i can die peacefully

BTS was first foreing artist since Michael Jackson to top Origon chart in Japan. US is biggest musicindustry, Japan second and Europe third. Many kpop groups/artists try to get in Japan markets and many are quite big there, like Twice.

KPop is big in Japan also, so a lot of the groups also speak at least some Japanese. There are also JPop groups. I've also see TPop and CPop (Thailand and China). Don't fall down any of those rabbit holes yet! Japan is the 2nd largest music market behind the US.
