4:59 YES and 8:22 YES. I don't dislike kpop, not at all but kpop is korean popular music and most of it just like US pop or swedish pop or brit pop or any pop is kind of emty but catchy and not for me it might have some similarites because of where it's from but it's not like you like it all just because you like one or two pop groups/artists from a country. BTS might count as kpop but I listen to BTS and not kpop and that is for their music, their lyrics, their message, their performances, I've honestly always been more into rock, metal, punk than pop. I do listen to some songs from other kpop artists too but it's not because it's kpop it's because it's good songs. And I do like the typical kpop things like the work groups/artists put in to not only the music but also performances and music videos and concepts, something I feel western artist have started being influenced by now which is great. Also, Michael Jackson was Us pop artist and so is Billie Eilish but just because you listen to them doesn't make you a fan of generic US-pop and it is not like people are writing in the title "Listening to US teen pop for the first time Billie Eilish Reaction" when reacting to Billie or categorise her as US teen pop and I think as BTS is much bigger than kpop they definently should just be "BTS" and world pop stars if anything more and not just kpop stars. Just like other big artists, their name is enough.
