Omg. I loved how you read the lyrics. I hope no one skipped that part. It was like spoken word. I hope you guys check out "BUTTER"...IT'S TOO ADDICTIVE AND AMAZING!!! I've watched it too many times. Btw...the lyrics may seem choppy because of how languages translate. There are some words Koreans use that have a similar meaning in English, but not an exact translation. English sentence structure follows SPO (subject, predicate, object). Korean follows SOP (subject, object, predicate). That's why words seem to fall out of order to us when we read Korean translation. And there is this version which is mostly English, the Korean version, and a Japanese version.

First of all: that translation of the lyrics was terrible and hilarious all at the same time. (But Google translates the literal characters, not the meaning behind the groupings of the characters. What else would you expect from a computer script?) Secondly: your spoken word poetry read of the hilariously terrible translation was amazing and I also started snapping part of the way through. Then giggled like a maniac when your younger big brother did the same. That said: I’m glad y’all had the captions on and were able to see the true meaning of the lyrics (and maybe I’m reading too much into it but I felt the times you were looking away from the screen were times when you were comparing the translation to the actual lyrics? I wasn’t fussed; I do that too.) And speaking of looking away from the screen (and to quote BTS): So what? No one sees everything the first time they watch, or the second, or the third. It’s not like you’ll never watch the video again. In summation: i liked the reaction and the format and I loved the two of you.

LOL First off, I love the spoken word poetry reading. This shows me you know that lyrics, and especially rap, are poetic. So, it will always be a matter of interpretation, even when you don't have the additional matter of translation from a foreign language first. As someone else said, the best translations I've found are on Doolset Lyrics on WordPress, because it also includes interpretations based on knowledge of the culture. These lyricists, especially RM and SUGA (aka Agust D), love their wordplay and so lyrics that can appear nonsensical at first blush often turn out to have deeper, and even multiple meanings. Another good source of interpretation is the YT DKDKTV "Explained" series where Koreans explain in English the meanings behind lyrics and the visuals in the MVs. Secondly, the lyrics you were reading were from the original Mic Drop, not the Steve Aoki Remix. I prefer the remix but that may just be because it has more English. (You always know it's the old version when you hear the "lodi dodi" part because that is apparently a common phrase in Korean Hip Hop.) Third, I love how you put thought into your reactions of the words and the video, didn't just say "wow, that was cool." By the way, the cars, fires and explosions were all real and happening right there in real time - though, of course, they did have great special effects as well. Finally, this is one of my favorite BTS songs and I'm glad you enjoyed it too. I hope all of your experiences with BTS and ARMY are positive ones. If you feel any pressure due to the passionate nature of some fans, please ignore this and, as RM says, "Do You." I look forward to seeing more of your reactions.

You will find out that reacting to kpop is super exhausting bc new songs are released daily and the fans of kpop groups will be constantly begging for you to hear THEIR favorite kpop idols. So, get some rest whenever you feel like it. Also, look into maybe getting a patreon account for live performances or you will risk putting your channel in jeopardy. sorry but you were looking down most of the video. also in my opinion, reading lyrics BEFORE you listen to a song is pointless because you have no frame of reference for it. once you have the context of the song (beat, melody) then reading the lyrics makes a lot more sense and is easier for our brains to process

Looking at other youtubers' careers, I feel like it is better to focus on one or two groups at the beginning. You are now reacting to so many groups, and you might get lost. Now, BTS then Blackpink, then Twice, then Itzy are the most popular groups if we look at the views on youtube. Maybe first you should react to them first. And after reacting to their recent stuff (let's say 2017-2021), then move to other groups. However, of course, you better know))
