Sienna Lalau did the choreo for this and is also dancing in it (see shorter girl with the yellow/black outfit with the other 3 dancers near the beginning of the video). She also did the choreo for the mv for BTS "ON: ...Manifesto.." official video: Sienna Lalau, from the LA area, did this when still in her teens. She appears in the video leading the dancers up front & center at the beginning of the video. Sienna also choreographed BTS's "Dionysius" performance dance (watch it live, amazing).

Dynamite was great but as J Hope put it, Dynamite was disco pop designed to bring comfort to people during the pandemic. On is complex with meaningful lyrics, use of African American sounds and production, complexly choreographed and most importantly an original composition. Dynamite was one of a limited number of songs not written in house. As such, to me On is essential BTS whereas Dynamite is simply fun BTS.

An explanation. There is BTS before the pandemic. Then during pandemic. They wanted to put out light pop songs during covid. No hard driven songs. Just fun. Their beginning stuff is complex and deep. Whomever told you this is a one take is wrong and doesnt know BTS! No way!!! Watch the Behind the Scenes. You'll see. One of the rappers, Suga, wrote the dance sequence music! They never got to perform this in front of an audience. Covid hit. Their tour was cancelled. But they said if they ever got to be in front of an audience again, they would perform "On" first. They did exactly that in their L.A. and Las Vegas concerts! The lyrics. Bring the pain on? You need to find out the meaning of this song. It's important if you really want to know BTS!

Again great reaction. This song was to be an answer back to those that said BTS was getting tired of being at the top. It was to be the opener for their World Tour in 2020. The Vid ended all of it. They were all depressed most of all because they had music that they wanted to spread to their fans and the public in general that they felt they didn't get to share because of the long wait from 2020 to 2022. In the end BTS did ON as the opener for the 5 US concerts and the 2 Seoul concerts before they went on vacation but they said it lost its power but they were happy that they were able to share it with the fans. I feel that every time I see that song I think of the stepping they do at halftime shows at HBCUs. They truely know how to utilize music and dance of all kinds to bring the best shows to those that love their music. They deserve their rest. Wooooooow! Thanks for appreciating this video! That dance break!!!! The intensity of it never fails to thrill me! This song really took me through a very tough time in my life. I was in a very bad work situation and with this song, I could say "Bring the pain oh" I'll use it to become stronger and find me and I'm going to bleed with you! It inspired me to fight on and survive. I'll always love BTS for the courage, inspiration, joy and strength they bring to me and all of Army! Not a marching band. A dance Troupe with drum sticks. No drums. But you hear marching music from the UCLA band. You can watch a video of them and the backup singers recording rhis song. BTS does every genre. They are NOT typical K-Pop!! BTS IS different!!! Consider watching the videos that explain how they started and who each guy is. They have a great story!!

This is their grown mature versions of themselves *They teamed up with UCLA Brass The Blue Devils MARCHING BAND along with dancers known as THE LAB and a GOSPEL CHOIR. They filmed at the most famous Los Angeles Dam. The kinetic manifesto film is a preview video of their full “ON” choreography since they only do the dance break part in their official MV* when this came out I was like this the whole time 🙀👀 then toward the end, I couldn’t explain it at all I had no words it literally gives me N.O with Not Today and We are Bulletproof vibes that I found later through interviews that this title track is reverse of their 2013 title track “N.O” from their second album ‘O!RUL8,2?’, our guys definitely didn’t come to play, once I heard it I knew it was the title track.* Like OMG the others are playing the drums behind Suga and our man Jin front & center. I did notice Jin wasn’t part of the dance break b/c he said it was very difficult for him which is perfectly fine & understandable, he has been doing so great along with RM and Suga with their dancing & vocalizing. I’m so proud of their improvement 😵😻 The more I listen and many fans have their theories but I think what theyre basically saying is no matter what negativity or challenges comes their way they’ll overcome it together when they say “Bring it, Bring the pain”, I wish every kpop artist had that mindset because there would’ve been less disbandment or members leaving their groups. Also, I believe the backup dancers representing the ARMY 💪🏽 which is saying that the fans and BTS have each other’s back, theyre willing to go out of their way to help each other and others to get through hardship. Theyve mixed in allot of their old dance movements with this new choreography, there’s so much symbolism going on within their dancing including the fake tattoos on Taehyung’s face & neck which he wanted to use for this concept. *Their outfits symbolize the Light & Dark, which they’re embracing both sides to balance themselves* #ON #BTS
