Today, BigHit finally takes a step to stop hatred and defamation of BTS. Wahhh, reading these old comments of army about 8 or 7 years ago is so heartwarming. Imagine these people discovering a group and instantly liking them for their music. Honestly, what I'm most proud about our fandom is our perseverance and spirit. In terms of marketing, BTS got huge without media play because the buzz and mouth-to-mouth marketing created by the fans. Do you know why Korea started to acknowledge BTS? Because they appeared a few times on prime time news due to their Billboard success. Do you know how they achieved such rankings? It's not through US debut/promotion, but the high album sale and the amazing buzz created by fans that even reached the westerners. Also, have you seen our effort in putting BS&T on the radio? Requesting people reacting to BTS? BigHit did their job good, but a huge part of BTS' promotion & marketing comes free from the fans themselves. This is why they have come so far in just 3 years without being part of the Big3. Sure, there are downsides of our active vocal, such as ARMYs being perceived as annoying. But tbh I think that it's part of the fandom culture. BTS' music encourage its listeners to speak up. It's not your everyday idol songs about love and break up. So ARMYs, please hold our head up high. I'm actually very proud of being a part of us. All fandom have moles and sometimes ppl crossed that 'vocality' line (hence we need apologist ARMYs too sometimes). But the general fandom itself are actually full of cool, hardworking, quirky people with amazing humor that loves nothing but to spread the love of BTS. I don't give a fuck about those who said 'I like BTS but I hate their fans' or 'this is what pushed me off of the fandom'. I love everything about our fandom as much as I love our boys. And sure enough, even RM said he won't take our love for granted. We're called an 'army' for a reason, guys. Because we're a force to be reckoned with B) (gosh this post is so long lol)

Just wanted to share a story. My mom used to hate on me every time I play a BTS song.. she'd always be annoyed and kept asking me why the hell I'm obsessed with our boys. Then one day, she was nagging me again and I just had it. I SAT HER DOWN AND I MADE HER WATCH SOME MUSIC VIDEOS. Needless to say, she was impressed. After that, I had her watch their Weekly Idol guestings and Bangtan Bombs. Now, every time I watch a video of BTS, she would join and laugh with me! So I told her, "Congrats mom, you're an ARMY now!" XD She even has a bias now. JIMIN!!! I was so relieved because I was like, "Good thing you chose Jimin because if you biased Suga, we'll be at war" =)))))

I should talk about this. As long as you love and respect BTS, as long as you want to be an army and as long as you respect other armys, you ARE an army. Many of you might not be able to spend money yet, stream as much yet, help as much yet, but it's okay. The music is for YOUR entertainment, YOUR relaxation after a stressful day. And you don't have to spend every single second of your free time to stream or this that. If someone thinks that it's bullshit when we say that we can't spare a few minutes every day, it's a very immature opinion on the life of a person then. There is a Fanfic writer, who stopped updating. She said she was a little sick, but she'll update later. Half a year went by, she didn't and every one kept nagging the writer nim to update, and they thought she was bluffing cause who would be sick for so long. Turns out she is suffering from anorexia. Do you expect her to spare her free time every day for labouring behind, what music industry idols? Not just sickness, it's daily work, some of you might have kids, some of you may be preparing for some important exams, some of you are enjoying with your family, some of you are casually spending time on internet listening to different kinds of songs, giving time to your friends, etc, whatever it may be, we should understand it's your life. When our oppas receive as much as a scratch we start crying, when our oppas can't tell us about their life we think that their life must be so stressful, they don't want to worry us about it. But when comes to thinking that way about your fellow army, we start assuming it's bullshit that they can't spare their time??? Because we're not good looking celebs, people become indifferent to us??? Please respect your fellow army. You know nothing about their lives, even if they want to waste time, let them. Like I said, just sincerely loving them is enough. Just know why you love them. I love them because I lost all hope because I am receiving no support from friends or family regarding my decisions about my future. My career has been planned out by my parents. And it's tough because I want to become a singer, with lack of support I might end up losing everything. But when I came to learn about how Bangtan rose from nothing to everything, it suddenly ignited this spark in me. I'll do it without their help, I'll do it myself. Hard work and passion is enough. I feel like Bangtan gave me life and (J) hope. I'm grateful to them everyday. I want to make them proud. I can't spend money on them. Or vote everyday, or stream every day. But i want to work so hard that people notice me and get inspired. Then I'll tell them I'm here because of BTS. That's how I want to show them my love. So it’s gotten to the point where I just have to say this. I’m coming back to this MV after watching BTS’s music bank performance. I didn’t want to post it there because of the hate this might receive from fans of other groups. But BTS just has IT. That unknown, unquantifiable X factor that just pulls people in. I’ve been a casual kpop fan for almost a decade, mostly for the choreography, and no group so far has managed to get me to go past their title track or a couple of songs and listen to the whole album. I’ve gone over a year before without watching any kpop and then gone back to see what I’ve missed. I’m glad I came across BTS because they are now one of my favorite artists of all time. I’ve seen so many comments on youtube and other sites saying that they don’t understand what exactly makes BTS so special. They’ll talk about their weak vocals, sloppy transitions in their past songs etc. The truth is that there is no technical explanation. There are better kpop vocalists out there. There are other idols who are just as passionate about music. There are groups that as a whole can pull off more difficult dance moves. But at the end of the day the only thing that matters is: are you making your audience feel something? I don’t know how they do it, but BTS brings it every time. It’s like they live for the stage. I show my mom kpop MVs once in a while (she’s a huge Michael Jackson fan so she also enjoys the dancing). After I showed her Dope, she said that’s the first time she’s felt something from a kpop music video. So whether they break records or not, whether they are hated on more or not, BTS just has it. I see so many parallels between them and my other favorite artist Led Zeppelin. Zeppelin was also hated by their home country and became more popular abroad first. But eventually they went on to become the biggest rock band of the 70s. I feel the same kind of passion from BTS’s stage that I feel when watching Zeppelin. I’m glad that BTS is now finding so much success. I’m interested not only in what they are doing now, but what they’ll be doing in 5 years, 10, and even 15. Sometimes it just takes a little fate (and a lot of hard work) for a group like this to exist. (Also I just want to make it clear that I'm not trying to bring any other artists down. I also enjoy watching a lot of other music videos and performances.)

Yamishtar I think it has something about how well both groups work together as a group. Jimmy Page always talked about that; he referred to it as an alchemical element. And how their first time practicing together they just knew after one song that it was going to work out. (haha I've read so many zeppelin bios) There's also the energy exchange between the artist and audience. You can feel it even if you're just watching it on video. It's so cool to be a part of this now while it's actually happening though. One day I'll be reading a BTS biography and thinking "Oh yeah I stayed up to watch a fancam of that concert"

I agree, BigHit is one of the best entertainment companies out there if not the best! As you said, they allowed BTS to be themselves, let them make their own music they even encourage them. Release Mixtapes, shooting multiple MVs and get NOTHING in return. If someone is sick or injured they cancel his schedule for days until he recover. Super junior, SNSD, RV and BTOB were the first foreigners to ever perform in this arena (The event was similar to KCON). However, these 4 groups just gathered a total of 20k people. And Katy Perry was the first solo artist and first american artist( no other artist followed) to perform in the arena, garnering 30k people. Yo, fellow PH ARMYs! I know this is so ambitious of me but is it possible for us to fill the whole arena??? CAN WE GAVE BTS A RECORD FOR THE FIRST EVER BAND GROUP & KPOP GROUP (solo not kcon or smthing) TO HELD A CONCERT THERE AND BE THE FIRST EVER FOREIGNER TO GATHER 55k AUDIENCES? (this can be put to Guiness Book of World Records if ever, i guess) I know PH ARMYs have grown a lot now, maybe we are as many as Brazilian ARMYs or more than that. Plus, other ARMYs from neighboring countries can come to the concert too. Bcos if this is the case, an 18k arena is not enough for us. And we have to tell Bighit ahead of time to consider this Arena as one of the Wings Tour venue. We have already seen how ARMY bombs shone beautifully in Gocheok Skydome. BTS wings album surpasses 500k sales already in hanteo! Idk but I've seen somewhere that in gaon that wings also surpasses 500k. Idk if its legit or not. But... the amount of pride swelling in my chest. god I love them so much! they deserve this recognition! loving this group before they achieved all of this.. the experience is precious. Is not liking a group that alr famous, where u don't need much effort to win on music shows, to get million views on yt. (not throwing shades) u remember the time when bts debut? their video hardly gain 500 views on the 1st day. (i suggest u listen to their song born singer live version. u'll be crying as wreck. The lyrics explain so well what they had gone through for three years after their debut😭😭😭) with bts, we army work hard from the beggining to build the strong foundation and finally show them what they are today. we are amazing! strong power armys! to newborn armys! thank u for supporting these lovely boys! let show the world of what they r made of. they r popular worldwide, but somehow I want korea to not sleep on these boys. thankfully wings help them to gain recognition. But then again, since the girl groups did a cutesy concept which is one of the crazed and major concept in korea, I will assume that this cutesy concept able to grasp ppl heart at different range of ages in korea despite the person is a kpop fan or not.. In other words it became a daily song to be listen to. Furthermore, since digital streaming requires streaming passes not all of the i-army have it. We have large fanbase worldwide, thus its easier for us to top the voting and album sales. But with the constraint of the streaming passes, it is hard for i-army to conquer digital score. Most of us only able to help by streaming in yt. I hope with this wings album, k-netizen open their eyes and see BTS's true potential.
