This song is such a banger i always sing along to the last couple “ruuun~~” even when the song isn’t playing 😭 it’s just so addictive💜 their hyyh era will forever be iconic There’s a ballad remix of this and it’s so beautiful! Bts have such distinct vocalists and a versatile rapline (best kpop rapline no question) and it always amazes me.

Guy if you are interested in BU then you should see that in order as Run is not the second part before it HYYH onstage prologue as the 1st scene of this mv is a continuation from that prologue. You guys should also check out the video by Xceleste where she has explain the storyline in 2 or more parts.

You heard Run in the BTS medley live performance. BTS is always running/hustling to survive and achieve their dreams! The song with the credits is Butterfly - it's a b-side showing the power of their non-singles as well! There is no MV for it. Also, yes, Jimin was in the tub in "I need you".

this is my favorite bts song and favorite mv. it's also the very first song i listened to back in 2015 which got me into them. this song holds so much meaning to me because i relate a lot with the storyline. this just goes to show that bts is always thinking about us. so glad you guys reacted to this song !! run is such a masterpiece, truly underrated.

Unless you go into BU in chronological order, the MVs might not make much sense. There are other parts, lyrics, short films, books, the BU game, teaser clips etc scattered all over years of continuous content. ARMY have put them in chronological order somewhere on KZbin too if you are interested in. BTS writes and makes music based on their own feelings and emotions at that point of their life in time. Aside from the plot of BU, these still came from their reality, their emotional experiences as teens and young adults. The possible interpretations drawn by ARMY (I am suggesting this because we grew up with BTS and them with us in the past decade so we understand each other better than random people), are also there if you are interested in them. But it would be best to keep in mind that these are our own interpretations (aside from what BTS themselves have told us in album promos, which we trust to be true). Simply put, it’s a whole another universe. A complete, coherent, superbly designed, extremely detailed, emotional roller coaster. Fair warning of triggering, dark themes and hope you guys have fun!!!!!!

I think it can be hard to pin down what a BTS song is about, in part because the BU MVs are part of an ongoing narrative which may have little relationship to the song's actual subject. Run is part of YHHY which as an album reflects on the relationship a young person may have with the process of growing and (potentially) maturing. I tend to think of it as a reflection on the hectic pace at which BTS are required to live their lives, constantly meeting schedules with nearly every minute of the day planned with objectives they need to meet, and yet with their own needs to maintain creativity and song-writing/production. Whether I am correct ... I don't know. It's a song I've never examined closely, and I am going mostly on my visceral response to the music.

i feel like a LOT of the new generation of armys struggle to understand that 😭 the music & the lyrics have nothing to do with the fictional storyline. bts writes their songs based off their own life & then later, once the song is confirmed to be on an album (possibly years after being written) then a team of filmmakers suggest themes for the music video. a visceral response to the music is 10,000% better than the kids who think the lyrics solely are about the BU
