BTS makes philosophical music not commercial, with very deep and meaningful lyrics even their MV are extremely meaningful, it's necessary to watch the explanations videos for a better understanding. There is literally zero competition to bts in the industry. They were the best selling artist of 2020 and they had 3 albums in the top 10 best selling albums of the year. Mots7 is #1, Be is #2 and their japanese album in the #8. First act since michael jackson to achieve that. They are on another level that i wouldn't even compare them with anyone.

Since their debut album to their most recent album the guys have been involved in their music, writing, beat production, music production the list goes on and on it was mainly RM and Suga, jhope in the beginning who had most involvement but through the years the others took that admiration and passion and they all now either write, produce and or contribute in any song they are working on. These men are more than just performers they are true artist that continue to hone in on their craft and their discography is truly unmatched and caters to everyone and any genre now getting people to give them a chance and listen is another story but they deserve so much credit to not only singing and spreading their music but actually having involvement in creating it from the ground up is what I respect most and their messages that they portray in each song is beautiful cause they can be interpreted in so many ways since the depth of musicality and lyricism is so crucial in their beliefs of a great song

Thanks for reacting to more BTS. First member singing was JIMIN Then came Jungkook (white tshirt without an outer shirt) Then V (red hair) and then Jin (they swapped back and forth) When the rapping starts, the first is SUGA (he goes by AgustD on his pure solo work outside of BTS) followed by JHOPE, then they did more singing and then the 3rd member of the rap line rapped - RM. Hope that helps. But of course the constantly change hair colors and styles, so, some of the intro videos may help get to know the members better. Thanks for your thoughtful reaction. A lot of BTS’s songs have deeper meaning than the basic romance elements, but they are of course open to interpretation. They draw a lot of inspiration from art and life and psychological theories and literature. Anyway, thanks again!

I think you need to no BTS is not like any other kpop group. No groups are that much socially connected with their messages like BTS. They are larger than kpop. They are not only just performers or singers but also lyricist, producer, composer and they have hand in everything they do. You will not get to see them in other commercialized kpop groups. I don't know if you'll see this comment but I just want to recommend their cyphers!! RM, Suga, and J-hope are the rappers of the group and two of them, Suga and RM were actually underground rappers before they debut as part of bts. J-hope on the other hand was an underground dancer, and was taught by Suga, and RM how to rap and how to write raps. From what I know, they have 4 cyphers. I recommend listening to it with lyrics. Also, cypher pt. 2 was made for a korean rapper Bfree because back when bts were still a rookie boygroup they were mocked by that guy, claiming that suga and rm weren't passionate for their music because they joined a boygroup who wears make up and also claiming they just want fame and money. The rappers of the group then decided to make a diss track for bfree. Lovelots!! I also love your reaction videos of nicki's tracks and mv btw!! I'm a barb!! ☺️☺️☺️

'Save me' is one of the best Masterpiece given by BTS and is one of my top notch favourite list, the minute i first heared the song, man bts has the best hooks instrumental, the pronunciation they do sounds calming to ears and just let you groove without even knowing what they are saying that's the power of bts music , Save me is my Top Favourite tracks, i love this Song because of 2 Reason- 1- Offcourse the Song is Damn good, the lyrics, the rap, the beats, choreography, the fashion i can't believe they were low on budget but still nailed a simple looking outfit and i hell want all of their outfits of save me. 2- The Weather In the Background Defines the Song , the iconic weather is what makes this song special for me. Whenever it starts to rain and cloud looks like that in this video i play save me it's like ritual for me.

I wouldnt say kpop is big i would say BTS is big, for eg when ppl show “kpop is rising” all these albums and songs in the tally is just BTS. BTS did open a path for new kpop grps to come up into the western markert though. For eg BTS was the biggest selling recording artist in the world in 2020 according to IFPI. Dynamite was the most sold song in downloads of 2020. They were the 6th most streamed spotify artist in the world in 2020. We dont actually see any kpop grp upto that mark. As how korean critics and korean general public say they dont evn consider BTS a part of kpop anymore as they never benefitted from that industry other than getting discriminated.

It doesn’t have a music video but it’s a newer song that samples this one to tell us that they’re fine now and they’ve learned to help themselves rather than relying on someone else to save them. Most Kpop groups also do songs in japanese to cater toward that market. Some also do chinese and there have been a few spanish speaking idols in Kpop to also reach those markets. I think it would be cool if you guys checked out more groups and live performances.
