Here's a fun fact. The second song, I'm Fine is the opposite parallel to Save Me. Not only in the lyrics but also in the music arrangement.

It is one of the most genius things I've ever heard/seen! You (lvlup I mean, not you op, obvs lol 😅) should Google it or watch an explanation of what we're talking about so you can see for yourself & really understand what we mean, it's super cool & brilliant! But hard to explain without writing out the words to both songs, you can find color coded lyrics side by side to see it perfectly - and the fact that the song I'm fine samples save me in the beginning but the Save Me melody in I’m Fine is a half step higher than the original, which gives it a slightly more optimistic best! So cool 💜

"I'm fine" music arrangement is "save me" in reverse. You can actually hear that when it changes from one song to the other, same melody but in reverse💜💜 Which makes sense with the meaning of both songs. I'm fine is an answer to their previous song save me, just like boy in luv and boy with luv 💜

the save me mv just proved that they don't need a huge budget to create quality content. i love the lore between save me and i'm fine. the ambigram of the two phrases, the music arrangement being reversed, and the lyrics being answered (i'm fine is part of the "love yourself: answer" album). i especially love namjoon's genius verse in i'm fine answering his lyrics from save me in reverse 😙🤌🏻 save me: (1) thank you for letting me be myself (2) for enabling me to fly / for giving me wings (3) for straightening me out, who was wrinkled (4) for breaking me out when i was feeling suffocated/boxed in / for waking me up when i was solely living in a dream (5) because when i think of you, the sky clears (6) i've given away a thing, such as, sadness (7) thank you for becoming 'us' i'm fine: (7) it's okay even if we aren't 'us' (6) even if sadness erases me (5) and dark clouds come again (4) even if i'm in an endless dream (3) and get wrinkled an endless amount of times (2) and my wings get torn (1) even if i end up becoming someone other than myself / it's okay because only i am my own salvation

I never thought I would cry watching the music video for "Save me", but here I am. This song and video mean a lot to me, it was the second song of theirs that I heard and the one that made me decide to follow them, and they were my salvation in that dark moment that my life was becoming in those years. There are many decisions in my life that I regret having made, but following BTS after having heard that song will never be one of them. It's so nice and nostalgic to watch that video again remembering that it's been 6 years since that first time.

Good lord. They all seriously glowed up in this era, but Jimin? Somewhere between HYYH and Wings, he underwent a COMPLETE transformation from boisterous muscle-guy, the member with the sleeveless shirts and washboard abs, into some sort of soft, ethereal fairy prince. 🥺 For some reason, Jin's voice stands out to me in these two songs. Like, it fits so well in his falsetto for some reason. He sounds so pretty. As others have said, Save Me and I'm Fine are sister songs. They're often performed together, and meant to be heard back to back, so you did well! I'm Fine uses Save Me's instrumental riff, reversed. And remember in the Fake Love music video, where "Save Me" was written on the wall behind V, and when you turned it upside down it said "I'm Fine?" Yeah, it's a whole thing. 😂 Jhope calling out "Hope World" before his verse is a thing, too. He did it in Boy With Luv, go back and listen again. 😁

Save Me💜I'm Fine. I still can remember your shocking face when you discover the words in you reaction of Fake Love MV🤣. My favorite live performance for Save Me is in Busan concert. You should watch that performance. Martin, it's never too late to discover BTS. Suga says, the day you found BTS is the day BTS debut for you.

I agree with you, their performance was so amazing, their black clothes, Jungkook's voice, and Part V really killed it. Wow, man, he's the king of stage and fancams and the idol of idols, and it's no wonder he has the most viewed fancam in the history of K-Pop.
