Can i ask why they flop?. I am not a kpoper at that time. If you compare shine and other mv view. Big gap. shine 200 million view and other mv just 20 million view.

Pentagon's Shine, didn't get a win cause of the fierce competition at the time, and it only got millions of views at the end of their promotion, Pentagon is very known in the Industry, just underappreciated, very big difference

Shine is the most viewed boy group mv from a group outside of the big 3 and bts. Pentagon became known in the industry thanks to Shines success. Their mvs now are getting a lot more views than their mvs pre-Shine. Although they’re views aren’t as high as some boy groups because of all the scandals that happened between Shine and their next comeback. 3 of the members were rumored to be dating other people in their company and Cube was awful in handling everything which resulted in one of their members leaving the company altogether. Because Dawn was one of the faces of Pentagon, a lot of people couldn’t see Pentagon without him. But I wouldn’t say Pentagon has flopped. They’re still working their way up, and people need to stop comparing their success to a viral mv. They had over 100k album sales with we:th (*way* more than their positive album which had shine) and were able to get their first win after 4 years, things that many groups in the industry have yet to accomplish. They’re getting over 20M views per mv which, in the grand scheme of things, is a lot, and that number is only increasing per comeback. Just because their journey to the top has not been the straightest one, I still believe they are on their way.

@@nicolev990 so true and their recent come back mini album is so damn good, we didn’t get a win this time but the response was so great, do or not was in number 1 in the release day(i know every universe know this already hehe) we accomplished so many new things in this come back, i hope in next come back we can give them another win with jinho
