Jin is one of those singers that have something about them that makes it almost impossible for other people to sing his songs. It's not only about hitting super high notes 'cause a lot of singers can do that, it's something in his breathing technique, the way he conveys emotions, I don't know how to explain...the boys did great of course and it's not until someone with an amazing and stable voice like jk covers Jin that people realize that what makes jin's solos so unique is the "jin factor" that can't be replicated :) This was nice , seems like they had a lot of fun!

i honestly think taehyung would make such an amazing opera singer if he trained his voice well enough. he's sang some opera in bangtan bombs before and wow he sounds beautiful. i wish big hit would let him sing more deeper ranged songs, his voice sounds beautiful at its lower range-especially since he's a baritone.

They will never let him. All their recent songs are high pitched with so much autotune. They said that pdogg likes that. We can only wait to listen to him in his range in his mixtape. Also I agree totally with him being good as an opera singer.

@@Taelosophy well i wouldn't say bighit will NEVER let him sing at his lower range. he's sung a few songs in his range, most recently being in BE. i remember all the members saying the pitch in BE songs were too low for them haha. all im saying is i wish to hear more of his "normal" range in the future. and yes, i cant wait to hear his mixtape, im sure he'll be singing in a range more comfortable for him :) i think the map of the soul albums had more autotune in it than any other album, but i dont think it's such a bad thing. sometimes having auto tune can enhance the feel and vibe of the song, so it's not necessarily an attempt to make BTS themselves sound bad :)

@@gloss2179 the only song that was in a lower range was blue and grey, the only song that Taehyung produce (and it wasn’t as low as it was in the original version that we listen in In the soop). He also works outside of bh with other people for this song. Taehyung has been singing all his career in tenor range and yes he can do it amazingly but their music will be better if they let go the autotune and use more his lower range. With the autotune I think it's not bad if you use it in certain times and not everyone. For ex, Yoongi use really well the autotune, it fits him. I don’t think it’s the same for the vocal line, specially Jimin cause sometimes his voice sound robotic. They have been using it since Idol and I think they abuse it in mots 7 and in some songs of BE.

@@Taelosophy @J. yea sometimes its a but overused but again like i said sometimes its just to fit the feel of the song. dont forget, the members participate in producing and composing songs-not just in BE-so of course the autotune could be their idea, not the company. and by his range i mean he sings in a range that is more comfortable for him. he has a very wide range, and i think the most comfortable tenor note he can hit is an E4. but i do see what you're saying, i would love to hear taehyung sing in his lower range more as well. but you must note that the vocal line sing in fairly the same range so that they can all match their sound. given taehyung is the only baritone but ALSO has a wide range, i think they had him change his sound because he's able to. the other 3 vocalists are all tenors/countertenors, so it would be hard for them to all sing at a lower pitch to fit taehyungs ideal range, also considering that they said the pitch for Blue & Grey was too low for them/lower than what they usually sing. it would be more ideal to have 1 singer change their sound rather than 3. what im trying to say is that taehyung singing in a higher pitch is all part of their teamwork and ability to balance their sound. and since he has more ability TO change his sound better than the other 3, he did. taehyung sings at a higher pitch so they can all blend together smoothly. of course in his solo songs he sings at a range he wants because its his call and there's no one else to match pitch with. solo works are different from group projects. im sure we'll get beautiful songs from tae in his mixtape in a range he's more comfortable singing in-whether it be a low tenor or pure baritone-and i say this again, he has a wide range. we'll have to wait and see :)

My negative opinion about the production of their recent music doesn’t imply I don’t like them. So I love that we can talk about this without a petty fight. I like that you acknowledge what Taehyung has been doing because most of the time armys don’t get this and even think he is a weaker vocalist cause his range is lower and he doesn’t sing high notes often, what doesn’t make any sense; but I like that there is people that really know what he has been doing with his voice for the team.
