You're actually pretty on point with your assumption! Jimin, J-hope and Suga are close to Taehyun of TXT and they also give a lot of advise to the group. Suga also mentioned they drink with each other from time to time. RM is close to Soobin! They hyungs are super supportive seniors.

The video you were a little confused about- Was the ad/commercial for Wednesday Family. It was BTS with GFriend. In the last 10 years there's only 4 girl groups BTS had been close with (not just one off like seeing them interact at an award show or something). Those groups are GFriend(which sadly disbanded, they were under Source Music), Twice (They had promotions together and got close), RedVelvet (Also had promotions the same time as BTS and were able to get close- also Jhope is like an extra member and I think he's closest to Joy. Both fandoms joke that they're twins/siblings), and Mamamoo(Jin is the gateway to this friendship as he and Moonbyul are in the 92 liner group chat. Both have talked about the funny jokes in the group chat and Jin mentioned his 92 liner friends go out to eat as often as they have time , they have a saying that if the food tastes good, there's no calories in it. lol.). But they are as always- friendly with everyone because they are just genuinely nice guys. BTS had said they didn't have anyone supporting or rooting for them back in their early days(Their only Senior in the company- Lee Hyun was doing military service when BTS debuted. So he wasn't able to show support.), so they talked about how they were happy and excited to finally have a group to cheer for. And they do this with, yes- primarily the HYBE artists. It's so cute to see their interactions, it is all very wholesome.

Seventeen is under Pledis which is under HYBE. 😊 BTS finds it hard to comprehend how other artists younger or older than them respects them so much. They got used to having their Sunbaenims around them for years that they got shy when the same respect and admiration they were giving in the past are now given to them. BTS remains humble, greatful, respectful and genuine that’s why ARMYs sincerely love, support and protect them so much! We are very proud of BTS! They are the best! There’s no one like BTS!
