Btw about their sexualities- Korea is very conservative and so although they've been vehemently supportive of the LGBT community, they haven't ever openly commented on their own sexualities. Dating is also a touchy subject in kpop, although it seems to be getting better after the news of Jihyo from Twice and Kang Daniel dating. Anyways, yes all seven guys are extremely close; they're all best friends and soulmates (they even made a song about it), and also they still live together. It's not just for show like you might see in boy bands sometimes.

to answer your yoongi(suga) question, no he's not always sad hahahah he has a more serious side to him but he has SUCH a soft and wild side!! many army's like calling him "lil meow meow" because of how he resembles a cat (there are thousands of twitter threads where you can find any yoongi picture and there will be a corresponding cat picture) but he also has his crazy moments, especially when he is with hobi(j-hope)! Jimin is a natural flirt. We even have phrases like The Jimin Effect and once you JimIN you can't JimOUT because he is so charismatic that people just fall in love with him(no matter female or male) Namjoon loves dogs. The members are extremely close and they’ve been living together for around 8 years. they’re like a family. Skin-ship is also considered normal is korea. It’s normal to show your affection for somebody(hugging, holding hands, sitting on a lap of each other etc). And we don’t know if the members are completely straight or not. Most people believe that they are but some doubt it, especially when it comes to suga. And about suga, he’s normally very quiet during interviews in the usa and only speaks if he thinks it’s worth it. However, he’s one of the main spokespeople in their korean interviews. He’s extremely wise and puts a lot of thoughts when answering questions. Also, about the grammys, bts got nominated for one last year, which was for their album design. They were invited to attend it and even presented the award. They didn’t win but it was an amazing experience for the boys overall. They did not get nominated for one this year, however, despite having the best selling album of the year. Some may argue that grammys is not about sales but all top 5 best selling albums in the world got a nominee except for the #1. Bts makes quality songs to which they take part writing and producing. It’s a shame they didn’t get a nominee just because their music is in a different language. K M Ohh so a few months ago, bts had a japanese interview where they were asked the following question, “When you look at girls, where do you focus first?” Suga’s answer was, “I focus on personality and atmosphere. I don’t have ideal type and it’s not limited to a girl”. Some people say that it’s a mistranslation, others say that it’s not. It’s complicating. However, suga is known for not specifying a gender when asked about his ideal type in the interviews. He always answers with “someone” instead of “her” or “a girl”, like the rest of the members do. Some of his lyrics also makes people question his sexuality. e.g. cypher part 3 Suga’s part “My flexible tongue movements that send both boys and girls to Hong-Kong” Also, in their 2017 billboard interview, suga said how there’s nothing wrong with being gay and that everyone’s equal. He 100% supports it, just like all the members do. There’s a lot more into it but it would take me forever to write lol. No one really knows his true sexuality. Even if he were to be part of the lgbt community, the fans would still support him and the rest of the members. But for now, let’s not assume :)

RM said that he used to have a girlfriend before debut. J Hope had a girlfriend too. Suga said that he wrote a letter for a girl... But that was a long time ago. btw, it is a cultural thing that bts are more affectionate and touchy with each other. In Korea it is normal for male friends to hold hands, hug, cuddle etc. Because they are so close and like family it is a normal way for them to show their affection to each other in a platonic way but because of the culture difference it might be seen as sexual in Amerca. I hope you don't take it as an indication of their sexuality because it hasn't been disclosed and is a private part of their life and if they wanted us to know they would tell us. I read this article by an American teacher working in Korea and it somes up the concept pretty well. "South Korean boys and men practice a thing called skinship, where they pretty much touch each other nonstop. Platonically bonding through skin with your best pal is an accepted practice here, and is no more sexual than a handshake. I teach at a mostly boys' high school, and they're constantly holding hands and sitting on each other's laps. Even when it veers a little too far into what non-Koreans would consider creepy territory, none of the boys involved see it as anything but basic friendliness."

I'm noticing you reacting a bit differently when Jin calls himself handsome. This video, and the video where you react to their introduction. Yes, the nickname worldwide handsome is a nickname he gave himself. But the fans also calls him that. That's because he finds it funny that people outside of Korea finds him handsome. Believe it or not, Jin is very very shy in the past. He struggled with self confidence. He said once in his Vlive that he took a lot of time to love himself too. Calling himself handsome is his way of boosting his confidence. Even now, even though you see him calling himself handsome, when other people actually compliments him, he gets really, really shy. There's even a video of him hiding his face on one of his manager's shoulders because of fans complimenting him of how handsome he looks. His ears often gets very red when the attention is on him. There are even compilations of him getting shy or his ears getting red circulating on Twitter. You just have to find them. Even RM said that among the members, Jin is the shyest. There was once during Bon Voyage (one of their shows), RM asked Jin since when did he start feeling confident and cheerful and Jin said that it's during Fire era (their song Fire). He just loves putting himself forward to make others comfortable during interviews etc. Idk, it just bothers me how you react to him calling himself handsome the way you did (like it annoys you or something?) when you don't know the story behind him. Plus, BTS have an entire album series called Love Yourself. And Jin's solo song Epiphany centres around loving oneself. "I'm the one I should love, in this world. Not so perfect but so beautiful." Yeah. Sorry for the lengthy comment. I don't see anyone addressing this so I thought I should say it. bts is all super close with each other, and as far as we know, they are all straight. none of them have ever came forward about their sexuality other than yoongi (suga) but even then it was never specified. they all save food and they even cuddle/sleep together, and back when they just started out i believe a few members showered together to save water. they’ve always been super close but it’s all brotherly love and i think that’s what’s so special about their relationship haha

dispatch said that 2 male idols from a kpop group are dating each other, and no, i am not stating that they're bts, no one knows, but what i am stating is that it *Is* possible for 2 members with the same sex from the same group to be dating, secretly ofc. so even though i get when comments say that the skinship and affection is common between friends in korea and say that they're like a family, ships aside, we really don't know if some members are dating each other, and we will never know unless they come out, anything's possible. but i definitely do agree that they're very very close and could be considered like brothers. and about the sexuality thing, one time, years ago, in a radio show suga was asked what was his ideal type (in romance and dating) he replied that he isn't limited to one sex. and, tbh, it isn't clear if jimin's just a natural flirt with everybody or bi. and rm said in an american interview "when we don't have a *boyfriend* or girlfriend...." so yea that's that.

RM was being sarcastic when the interviewer asked about dating, you can tell by his tone, but I think he was telling the truth when he said it's hard for them to date (they work a lot). During the puppy interview RM wasn't holding a puppy because they were given pieces of paper with questions from fans on it, RM was reading those questions to the other members so he couldn't hold one of the puppies while reading off the questions from the papers. He was honestly more focused on trying to get the members to answer the questions which as you can see is a feat of it's own. (If you want to seem him interact with animals youtube search for BTS and stingrays, it's adorable). They are all laughers honestly, it doesn't take much to get them laughing, just watch their 'crack' videos lol. Jin went to a university and majoring in acting, and Taehyung/V played in a k-drama. Suga is not always sad, he actually has a very goofy side to him which I hope you will see more of! Just in interviews he's usually more serious, I think it's because they do these interveiws as they tour so he might just be hella tired and he just doesn't have as much energy in general as the others do. They were not nominated for a grammy... And I think RM does know what a wig is, probably didn't know the english word for it, though I think it was the phrase 'snatching wigs' that he was confused by. As for if they are like that all the time, no not really, I think it just depends on their mood and the camaras honestly. I'm sorry for the super long post but I hope I was able to answer all your questions! I love your reactions ^^. BTW if you want to get to see them more I would highly suggest watching their VLIVE stuff (vlive is a website/app it's easy to google), the vast majority of their stuff is free to watch there, you really won't regret it! And most of their stuff are subtitled too, but I don't know how accurate those subtitles are but it's better than nothing! Just DON't react to their Vlive stuff on youtube, you will get copyright striked, the company who owns Vlive doesn't like their stuff being posted on youtube.

Hahaha loved your reaction! I believe this is one of your first interview/interaction videos, right? I can imagine you have a lot of questions! I’ll try to explain some things you asked about. (Long ass text incoming!) The members have been living together for around 9-7 years now. When they started out all 7 of them lived together in a very small apartment, they all slept in bunk beds in 1 room. Because of that they are very close as you can see in the video. They have basically seen everything from each other, all the bad and all the good. They truly are brothers for life. South Korean men are generally a bit more comfortable and handsy around each other. Putting a hand on your friends shoulders or thighs or otherwise touching is not seen as sexual like we would here in the West. So the touching you see BTS do with each other is just a sign of them being good friends and nothing more. Some of the members are more touchy than others. Jimin and J-Hope are most touchy. V, JK and RM as well, but they often keep it down a lot when doing these kinds of interviews, but you can see them being more comfortable in other content like their variety show Run! BTS. I’d say Jin and Yoongi are the least touchy of the members. As for if ‘they swing both ways’ (lol). We don’t know. South Korea is still a very conservative country and homosexuality is not seen as okay. So the members have not talked about their sexuality and I think they never will. But at the same time the members have all been very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. They support LGBTQ+ artists, speak openly about it in interviews and answer fans (for example a fanboy once asked Jungkook if they could date, and he answered ‘yes’, and they’re always sweet and responsive if fanboys tell them they love them) and even have some songs with lyrics that you can read in that way (Suga’s verse in ‘Cypher Pt. 3’, the whole song ‘I Know’). ‘Is he always sad? :(‘ Hahahaha. Suga is a very introverted guy. He’s a man of few words but he speaks his mind when he feels like something needs to be said. He’s also very shy and often doesn’t really know how to respond to the members antics. He’s the kind of guy that will quietly enjoy his friends fooling around, but he can be very loud when he’s completely comfortable. And no, that is just his face. He sometimes looks like he’s spacing out and his mouth will slightly drop open, he’s the cutest 🥺 I really love your reactions, I love how you don’t filter anything and just speak your mind! So my boyfriend was born and raised in korea until he was 13, he moved to the US. He said when he first came here and started going to school, his classmates thought he was gay because he would be so touchy with his male friends. It's very common in korea for male friends to be close like that. Just a difference in culture ☺️

Something you need to know is that Korea's culture is different. Guys are much more touching with each other there than other places like America even if they are just friends. So, that is why you seemed to think RM and Jimin had a thing for each other. They all have moments where they are really touchy with each other because that is how it is over there and also they have lived with each other for years.

While BTS has never openly discussed their sexual preferences, they are very touchy feely with each other. Besides having lived together for like 10 years and being best friends, Korean culture is very open regarding “skinship” (i.e. holding hands, linking arms, touching thighs, hugging, etc) between men. Ik western culture would cause us to immediately think that behavior is associated with sexuality outside of being straight but you can be straight and be all up on your best (male) friends in Korea. I hope that made sense 😂💜
