A lot of the "JK afraid of girls" clips happened when he was like 16 (and new in the industry) and the women were adult celebrities or foreigners who didn't speak his language. He's generally shy (he's said that he used to wait until all the members were asleep to sneak into the shower because he was too afraid to run into them and he also used to cry when he sang in front of people), so he's pretty wary of people he doesn't know anyways.

There's a difference between being scared of something and being startled. I'm easily startled, mostly because I'm in my own world a lot, but I'm not scared. And if I were scared? So what? Being scared is an evolutionary response to danger, some people just have an easier time rationalizing their way through it. Still, it seems like they're a pretty easy scapegoat for a far more pervasive issue... If cameras are around, they keep their distance from anything that could create drama, rumors, and scandals. For many media outlets, the desire to tear people down is stronger than the desire to simply tell the truth. Even without shippers, this kind of media harassment would still exist. Western paparazzi/stalker media heavily invade celebs private relationships, and shipping culture isn't as pervasive in the west. Western celebs in relationships avoid being seen together in the hopes of maintaining some semblance of privacy. The media stalks friend groups and families as well. For real? Why do I need to know what celebs kids look like? The real problem is that large portions of the general public worldwide believe they are entitled to access to personal info about celebs private lives, which has created an environment where paparazzi/stalker media has thrived.

Idols get dating scandals just for wearing the same bracelet, and dating in the idol world is badly regarded in South Korea unfortunately so they are veeery careful not to stirr up any kind of rumor by avoiding even looking in the direction of girl groups. Honestly some idols reacting away they react around females could possibly because a lot of fans get defensive when a male idols around females. Then you have people who automatically if you're around a female they ship you with them or the female gets a ton of hate I'm literally JK got his tattoos done and he was hanging out with his female friend who was the tattoo artist whose boyfriend was also there but they only got pictures of her and JK and they literally gave her death threats threatened to like have the tattoo shop be I guess like illegal so she ended up getting fired I think they're so friends though. It's just things like that but yeah like being afraid of fireworks makes sense do you know how many idols have lost part of their hearing or their sight and even have burns on their ears or scar by their eyes because the fireworks are so loud they're so bright and they're very close I don't get a warning things like fire and fireworks are always being on stage and they don't have control over that. Like Joy from red velvet she is scared of fireworks and I think she even lost like part of her hearing in one ear and people really sat there and bashed her from running away off stage from the fireworks and I'm like she was triggered if something traumatized do you would have a hard time being around it too idle or not there is still human beings. A lot of some people have mental health problems you know some people have phobias some people have like really bad traumas that they can't get over easily and for people to sit there and make fun of them or talk bad about them because this person hasn't eaten disorder this person's body this more for you this person bleeds very easily and if they bleed then they get like a blood clot or something bad that has to do with their blood. Me personally I have many problems Vertigo Asthma Allergies Mild depression + anxiety Social anxiety Introverted Anti social I have panic attacks , asthma attacks and anxiety attacks a lot and I'm only 22. I have body dysmorphia and I'm also us size and I ah e big feet , I'm thick and I have hyperhidrosis which means I sweat excessively. I probably have an eating disorder. I have bad eyesight and space out so much that I don't hear conversations but respond back I can fall asleep anywhere for hours including standing up.
