I love this song, the lyrics, and the dancing. BTS writes most of their own songs and these lyrics are about the fear of losing one's passion for what they love most. For them, that would be music. Other ARMY can fill you in more about Black Swan, but I hope you'll react to more of their songs. I suggest you start with Dynamite or Butter, their newer songs as a group, and then go to Fake Love and Mic Drop. That will give you an idea about how diverse their discography goes. I hope when you listen again you will attend more to the connection of the lyrics to the choreography. Dance can be enjoyed for what it is physically. The dance here however is interpretive which means it connects to lyrics designed to be messaging. It is part of the story. Black Swan is a tad difficult because the messaging operates on two levels combined into a single package. As it is a tad complex, I will just say a Black Swan is a sudden, unexpected event typically with ominous aspects. Though there is a double entendre with the use of a theater to the Black Swan movie, the theater really is the theater of the mind. Please watch BTS videos to the end as if you had been engaging the lyrics there was a final scene you skipped that was significant to the narrative.
