I think they put the black shirt on and took the white pants off (with black pants underneath). The white shirt was too thin to have a black shirt hidden. At the same time, it's insane they managed to do that so fast. There were probably some backup dancers lending an extra hand though

That Jimin/Jungkook part. Hauntingly beautiful art. It takes an insane amount of core strength to hold Jimin's pose (notice how he brings his front leg up during the spin, and braces himself to further turn his chest towards the audience on JK's arm). It takes an enormous amount of strength to hold a person at chest height like Jungkook did (imagine holding a heavy box there).

Luckily jimin master in contemporary &modern dance. Those dancer knows how to work on body momentum so they will be lighter when going up. Same case with balerina. Its work on their steps in prelifting. Hold on to their core, some pose will help spiraling the momentum of the body weight. So yeah its not only JK strenght on that moment, but also jimin strenght so it work out beautifully

Most american awards don't give them the proper treatment, grammys even cut their dynamite performance on tv so it's not like they don't want it or the west is not ready. They won't let them. Bts are performers, bringing a stage like this to America must been a dream to them, they just need the opportunity.
