The girl keeps coming to the tree day after day in hopes that she will meet him but she never does. Losing all hope, she thinks that the boy has forgotten her but in reality he is with her always. He is watching over her as her guardian angel, awaiting the day they might meet again.

Hi, welcome to this comment! here’s a little theory about what’s happening in this mashup :) Since Spring Day is the BTS song here, you can see that most of the lyrics describe BTS missing someone, and waiting to see someone again, which may be BP. BP’s song here is Stay. The lyrics involve BP persuading someone to “stay” with them. In this case, BTS. Also, you know the matches Jungkook had? Well, there’s a story called “The Little Match Girl”, which is basically about a girl who lights matches and sees her memories of loved ones. JK lighting the matches represent him and the other members trying to relive those memories with BP. But why are they missing eachother, you ask? Well, you know how Spring Day is based off of the Sewol Ferry crash, right? Basically, BTS and BP might have been part of the crash. Since the theories of Spring Day say some of the BTS members die, we can suppose in this video they all died. BP are the remaining members of the group, and they are missing BTS and want BTS to “stay” with them, as they don’t want BTS to die but also want them to be in BTS’ hearts. Also, since BP mentions in the beginning of the song that someone didn’t say sorry and that their hearts are hurt, might mean that before the crash, they might’ve had a fight of some sort. BTS is telling them to “stay a little longer”, and the “spring day” will come, which also means happiness will come if they wait a little longer. Suga’s rap also symbolizes that BP have changed, as they are becoming more sorrowful, and that he hates them for being so sad and gloomy. He also mentions “even thought I love you, I’ll erase you now” or something along those lines, which means that he doesn’t want to feel anymore pain and sorrow by watching BP suffer. One last thing, BTS also asks “how long do I have to wait? How many nights do I have to stay up?” which means that BTS is waiting for BP to be happy and to finally accept BTS’ death, as well as to meet them again. And, finally, in the end of the mashup we see BTS saying the “spring day” has finally come, and we also see BP dancing and smiling (possibly even celebrating), which means that BTS and BP have finally met eachother again.
