I love seeing dance practice videos because: - I can see the whole choreography. There are music videos that don't have the whole choreo in it or songs that don't even have a music video at all. Like side tracks such as Silver Spoon. - because I'm BTS trash and I'll watch everything they post. Every Bangtan Bomb, every Tweet... - It's fun to focus solely on the choreo and it makes me appreciate it more and notice things I didn't notice in the mv. And they're not exactly rehearsals or practices, they already perfected the choreos and wanted to show us the 'final product'

welin a lot of the mvs..you dont get to see all of the steps...for,example the drinking part where one guy is in center the other members drop...Don't see that in the mv..or the arrow shot...you don't see the really cool group shoulder slide

i watch dance practices frankly cuz on music shows, the camera work is poor at best and you cant see the whole dance properly

We can see every member and every move, on camera we can't see everyone, and as a fan, you can see their improvement ^^ some people do dance cover too

Couple of reasons for watching rehearsal videos 1.) Fans want more content from their favorite groups and BTS is *really* good at delivering that extra content. 2.) Official MVs don't always have choreo (e.g. BTS' "Run" or "I Need U" which are story MVs). Or they might have some choreo and some story (like "Blood, Sweat, & Tears"). 3.) You can watch full choreo versions of their songs on the various live performances and music shows, but the camera work is almost universally terrible. So a rehearsal video lets you see the full choreo for the song. 4.) The rehearsal MVs also give the members a chance to do things they wouldn't do at a concert or a performance, like dress up in costumes (e.g. "21st Century Girls), or be extra silly & goofy ("War of Hormones, Real War version).

I think is mostly for fans that want to learn the choreo and fans that want to see the complete choreo because the performances on music programs usually get random camera work and doesn't focus as well in the details. I think the bangtan bombs and vlive are mostly on the 'humanise them' field.

The purpose is, as you mentioned a. obsession, but also b. watching them just purely dance without the distraction of other imagery or outfits or whatever and feeling even more proud of how hard they work

There is a lot of camera work on music shows and at concerts therefore Kpop groups and idols release dance practices to let the fans see the whole choreography. Their choreographies have a lot detail in terms of positioning and formation and it's not always seen on shows and stuff, therefore dance practices help show the full dance. It's not really a 'practice' as you can see, they have perfected every detail. It's just to show all the movements.

With dance practices the focus is entirely on them with nothing to distract you and you can see them at all times and actually enjoy the choreography. During concerts often time the background is distracting you from the guys, and often times the camera doesn't show them all. It would zoom on 1 guy and can miss a whole chunk of the choreography.

the MV doesnt show the whole dance just pieces so your supposed to watch the dance practice to see the full dance if you don't want to hear all the fans screaming when watching them live the dance practices aren't rehearsals so you won't see them mess up in them unless there goofing around I honestly don't even know why there called dance 'practices' but whatever I'm not complaining✋😏

Rehearsal videos if you want to learn their choreos you can just watch this and also like everybody said rehearsal videos lets you see the actual and complete dance than in music shows

In the rehearsals you see the whole dance. In the mv you only see parts of the dance. We don't want BTS's efforts to go to waste. We Army appreciate EVERYTHING that is BTS. 😂😂😂

Literally none of the reasons you listed are the reasons why I watch the dance practice videos...I just watch to see the whole choreo...

I love dance choreography, looks beautiful. In fact I got interested in BTS from watching their dance practises in youtube. Each video with 15 million, 13million views etc. I remembered spending 2 full days watching all their dance practise videos again and again, each time trying my best to tail each member`s movement...hey where did he go middle centre side.....it was mesmerising especially when they do it so fast quick and so well. Their dances stirred my interest in BTS. Such an interesting group. Their music videos from 2013 to present has A storyline, broke stereo type...

For me, I guess being a BTS trash that's one thing #ArmyHere (It's given). Secondly, I'm a frustrated dancer haha I always admire people who can really dance (even more for gifted ones) & BTS is exceptional knowing that they're not a dance crew per se, not everyone of them as good as their dance line but by watching their rehearsal their hardwork as a group/family transcend, it's inspiring.

I watch BTS dance practice bcz I want to focus on every dance moves they make without being districtacted by loud fan screaming, camerawork, stage lighting etc.. Also I want to see them offstage, working in their studio wearing casual clothes. Plus I am obsessed with BTS so I need a daily dose of BTS otherwise I can't function like a normal person lol

they put all of their heart and soul into their practices and performances...that's why they are the "Dance Kings of Kpop" thanks to their personal choreographer Sunny who's Also Korean.

I like to watch the dance practices just for the sole purpose a watching a bts video and appreciate their choreography. Plus, if you have a bias (like me) you get to watch him without having the worry about the camera man zooming out or not focusing on the person you want to see. (Maybe even watch the video 7 times and focus on each member separately) haha. I also think people like to watch them just because they like to watch them dance, maybe even to learn it and cover it themselves. Plus, sometimes in their MVs you can't really see the full effect of the choreo so it's always good to watch their practice.

Not only does this let us see the full choreography for the music video or just the music in general,but it also gives them a bit of practice for upcoming shows and performances and how they will do in the performance and how they look and feedback from the audience in what they love and what's outstanding to them in the video.

I watch rehearsal videos because: 1) I am in love with this group 2) in the music videos you don't necessarily see the entire choreography and 3) there isn't a music video to all the songs, but there is choreography to most of them

i'll put it this way, their live broadcast videos suck because the camera men move the shots too much and miss the key points in the choreography or performances. Kpop fans like it for the performances. Also its like if someone spent so much time practicing something they didn't do it just so it can be cut out. It's the main reason they put it in there. Sometimes they zoom in on someone who is not even singing or something really random. yeah ts a mess

what I like about them is watching their amazing ability to stay in sync the whole time never miss a beat and having to remember their positions in every dance routine they do for all of their music videos plus non stop repeating of the same dance routine.

I watch rehearsal vids because often the music videos have more story than dance so you miss a lot of details, and then for live performances often the camerawork is appalling so you need a steady one shot vid like this to forget the seasickness and see how it should actually look lol

I think the initial intent of these dance practices is for BTS to watch them and review their positions/see what they can improve. It's a bonus that the company posts them for fans to enjoy. I personally love watching these videos because they're such good dancers and their choreography never disappoints :)

i watch the dance practices because it shows the full dance and the mvs sometimes have dance versions. like fire has a dance version and reg. mv but not always and the mvs usually dont show a lot of the dances. :) so this shows it clearly :) thanks~
