I clicked on this expecting to hate it because usually english covers make me cringe because either the rhymes are awful or they totally butcher the meaning of the song just to make it rhyme easier.... But I was really surprised! Your cover was SO GOOD! The rhymes are nice and natural and you kept important point lyrics as well as the general tone and meaning of the song very well. Your voice really fits the melody and you also adapted the tone to fit the different parts, like the softer vocals in the chorus, the deeper and rougher rap parts and jhope's sexy 'wonhae manhi manhi' Great adaptation! 10/10 would recommend BTS to listen to this :D

redpanda23 🙄if she kept the words exactly as they were, it would not flow right. It would not rhyme, etc. she has to change it to keep with the flow of the song. For example if you want to say "happy birthday" in Spanish you'd have to say "Feliz cumpleaños" and that has more syllables than "happy birthday" therefore it would sound weird if you tried to sing it the same way

It's only because if she did the lyrics direct it would of sounded weird because it wouldn't have rhymed well, so she changed it a bit to rhyme better❤️

kiara sandoval it's because there is no official version with English lyrics. That's why every cover id gonna be different. I always try and stay as close as possible to the real lyrics, but sometimes I change things up to get it to work with the actual music :) I hope this helps ^^

try turning on the english lyrics on the actual video. You'll see the english lyrics that BTS intended
