That' the power of Namjoon a.k.a RM! The best leader ever. A little background... in the past BTS used to received a lot of negative/hate comments in English. RM was the only member fluent in English and when members asked him about it he would translate it to positive comments coz he doesn't want all the other members to be sad or be demotivated. He kept all the negative comments all to himself.

I actually love their English songs as well! But the intent to release was too uplift us in the covid, so it doesn't have deep lyrics but just a fun, happy song. (they actually released the B sides and remix of these songs were they goof off a lot haha) Because they were English it got a lot of attention ( being played in radio, commercials as against their gem korean songs) and the people who don't know bts listened to those songs and put them in this 'pop boyband box'. Bts also talked about this in their last meet when they wanted to take a short group break

From a musician stand point I like “Butter” and “Dynamite” a lot for the baseline…but I don’t like too much “Permission to dance” (It’s just my opinion). I know a lot of Armys prefers their Korean songs…(me too ahaha). The 3 songs in English were composed during pandemic and were made to make happy Armyss, so the 3 songs are just so “happy vibes” that make you smile. 😊 And the videography never disappoint with BTS. There is also a Remix of “Butter” and it’s a good remix…it’s also funny because the video…😂 Thank you for the video!!!!💜

I tried so hard to learn their names with this video, watching over & over, only to be completely confused on the next video I would watch, lol. Honestly, your first reaction I watched was Guide to BTS by Taylor Nakamoto. I was put off by the first part and wanted to say a lot but BTS and ARMY values love, kindness and inclusion so I kept watching. I am glad I did. Butter broke the record for the most viewed video on youtube in 24 hours with 108.2 million views, became BTS 4th number 1 song on the billboard hot 100, and earned them their 2nd Grammy nomination. I would highly recommend checking out their performance of Butter at the 2022 Grammy Awards. They did incredible despite facing several hurdles beforehand (injury/surgery, covid). Butter is definitely an enjoyable song but I don't know if I would say it's one of BTS best songs. They have a lot of other songs where they are more involved and lyrics are more complex. Butter was just meant to be a fun song to cheer people during covid.

I discovered you today. And went through your bts reactions. And your "learning/understanding curve" is amazing. On earlier videos you asked if you should react to other reactions. For me : NO! 1. It takes away the views of the original bts video 2. the quality is mostly not that good. 3. Some do it for clout and "overreact" So please keep doing YOUR reactions. Pause as often as you want to voice your opinion. (We know the original anyway) We don't mind long videos as long as you are doing it genuinely. Hey i was mean on my comment i think in the first video you did with the Bangtan, now this is my 2nd, i apologize for that mean remarks. Im glad you’re open about learning them.
