the thing at 4:55 is probs b/c the "trained dancers" are able to move their arms faster, so they don't have to start moving their arms earlier to hit the mark on the beat exactly

Nyny Lewis Actually, yes. Only three are trained dancers/have a background in dancing. Jimin majored in contemporary (he was even at the top of his class in high school), Jhope was a street dancer (he was pretty popular too) before BTS and Jungkook took dance lessons in America as part of his training for BigHit. All the other members are not trained but have been practicing as part of being in BTS. Suga actually joined to be a producer/writer, but was an underground rapper for some time. RM joined just for rapping and writing, Tae joined accidentally when he came for a friend’s audition (at least that’s what I’ve heard repeatedly) and Jin was picked for his looks (not joking, but I’m glad other talents are being shown too). None of them are dancers or had any previous dance experience prior to joining BigHit.

Andelokry ahhh thank you for telling me, I knew majority of what you said already lol but I didn’t know the fact about Jungkook. So this is why although TaeTae is very good at dancing (the other members are wonderful too but I’ve just heard this a lot) he’s not considered to be in the dance line because he’s not trained?

i think this is actually recorded after the mv. when they reacted to the mv, i think jin(or someone else) said somethig about the chorus, something like "oh this is before the choreo was changed" (hes talking about how in the chorus, the "oh oh ooh oh" part, theyre hopping on one foot while slightly kicking the raised one. but you can clearly see in this dance practice theyre not doing that)
