Hi @alxndracook thank you for your video with cute art work and kindly explained process ❤ I have a question with the process that I have some drawings from ipad procreate, and as I bring it to i Mac photoshop, it is quite blur.. How do you set to avoid problems with low resolution? And have you ever brought works form procreate to AI ? I would like to make some different color version, but its not easy to convert complicated drawing to ai file. Thank you for reading Alex!

Thank you 🥰 you need to make sure that you start work on at least 300 dpi on procreate with a large enough canvas to begin with. You can also change the canvas size in photoshop but it doesn’t always guarantee if it will be blurry or not if your original procreate drawing was too small. Unfortunately I have no experience with Ai so I can’t help you there 🙌🏻

First I would like to say that I love your design’s. Can you tell me what size canvas I would use on procreate to start making patterns for a silk scarf?

Thank you 🙏🏻 I design with just the usual square format or whatever format you usually comfortably use on procreate! I think it’s just preference and generally it’s different for me every time 😅

Ps. Also because I often make the image larger later with photoshop 😉 as long as it wasn’t too small to begin with!

Hey ☺️ I use habotai silk, I like that more matte texture and it’s printed digitally 🙌🏻

Thank you! 🥰 I’m sorry it took me forever to find the perfect company with lots of costly trial and error. I don’t usually give my manufacturing info for free 😉 I hope you understand 💖

Hi could i ask how you define the size of the paper on procreate? Is it based on the size of the scarf? Thankyou

Oh definitely not in procreate as it wouldn't give me enough layers to work on, I usually just use the main square size they give you and then resize things in photoshop after. 👍🏻

I mean I’m really not an expert as I just figure stuff out with trial an error but do not go any lower than 300dpi, there’s a basic square format that procreate offers already, it’s probably a good place to start there 👍🏻

Yep! Depends on how busy the company is at that moment in time, from 1-3 months during peak times in the manufacturing season! 🙃

What brushes do you use for the sketchy look?

All the brushes I use are just the basic ones that come with procreate 🥰 I use a lot of ink and pencil type brushes 🙌🏻
