What in the wigglefoots is going on? I love watching y'all beam while you watch Hobi dance! How can you not? Hobi expresses his top-tier artistry through his dance as well as his rap and singing. I was there at Lolla craving some choreo after all the intense rapping of the first set. Colorful, joyful Tropical Dynamite was the perfect mood swing! Bravo, Hobi! Bravo, WG2S!

Rie Hata did choreography for this tropical version. She is 32 years old Japanese choreographer. She made choreographer of BTS Mic drop, IDOL, Airplane pt 2 and Anpanman.

Rie Hata (a Japanese choreographer, choreographed Anpanman and Airplane pt 2) is actually the choreographer for this. Sienna and The Lab were just the dancers this time around.

The arm choreo during the Nah-Nah part is my favorite. It is so subtle but so clean. The synchronization is everything!

I think Rie Hata actually choreographed this new Dyna dance. I remember reading that Sienna got to Chicago a day before the show and had to learn choreo at the last minute. She still killed it!

Yes AJJ was right, that is Sienna Lalau from The Lab Dance studios, she and the lab dancers were there for all the PTD concerts, they even went so korea too. They were there for the Grammy performance. The Lab dancers are mostly there on their live performances. 💜

What gets me every time is how much fun Hobi is having during his dance performances and the smiles he gives. It's very contagious. He and the team of dancers did a great job at Lolla. They gave a new life to the tropical version of Dynamite.

So happy Hobi included this! I agree Nico, I was hoping for a dance practice video! He looks so happy, the dancers look happy and I believe the choreographer's name is sienna...I could be totally off but I think it's something close to that! Always great to see Hobi dancing and I know so many dancers out there respect the hell out of him and his talents and he feels the same to other dancers. It's all just love! Happy with this choreography, she is very good at what she does and has even made choruses to JLO, Justin Bieber and others. The most I liked was the change to something more Latino when I saw it for the first time and they danced Salsa I was very excited, I am from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and here as in many Latin countries Salsa is part of our culture. Thank you JHope for being so humble and dancing in that energetic way that characterizes you. And to you I am your number 1 fan 💜🤍

Two of the dancers are local to Chicago ( they went to a cup sleeve event and an ARMY met them) so I assuming Sienna came to Chicago, helped pick the dancers and taught the choreo, - more of a performance director role. With them doing solo projects and the Oct concert, the Korean performance staff has to be super busy.

The lady choreo business is called - The Lab. BTS used them for their LA concerts and again for their Las Vegas concert. Now it seems they may use The Lab for all U.S. work.

Man I love how they were hyping him up! Love to see him perform as a member of BTS, but it's just so special to see Hobi light up like this, performing with dancers that are able to keep up with him technically and artistically! Love how they highlighted "dancer J-Hope at Lollapalooza and showed off his dancer roots. Oh and side note, this was actually choreographed by Rie Hata, a well-known dancer/ choreographer based in Japan. She also choreographed Idol, Anpanman and Airplane Part 2! I think she also co-choreographed Mic Drop.

the choreography is by Rie Hata, a Japanese dancer and choreographer who has worked with BTS before, for example in Mic drop, Anpamnam. But I guess The Lab is the corps de ballet for Hobi and BTS when they go to America... and they really do very well, they're joyful!

I really love the African dance steps incorporated Into this version! And Sienna is super talented (she helped choreograph CNS & Dionysus and was lead choreographer for On) but I don't think she choreographed this number. Great reactions from both you as usual! Love the choreo on this! And the dude with the natural hair, it's natural bruh. He put it in braids for the actual performance thus shaved sides complimented the look. I know no harm was intended in any way at all, I am only commenting on it cuz in my State, that had to pass a law allowing Black folks to wear their hair like that without criticism or harassment.
