So this performance was in 2016, and they still perform Fire in concert. My first BTS concert was in Los Angeles, California on December 2, 2021, and they opened the concert with ON and they did Fire with a different instrumental remix, and it was still this good. They are just amazing. 3 hours of BTS performing 24 songs and they took 3 breaks for costume change. And BTS doesn't do a warm up band, it's just them. I unapologetically danced my ass off the whole concert, screaming fan chants and Korean lyrics (I'm sure I butchered the language). I had the best time of my life. If you ever get a chance to experience a BTS concert, I highly recommend it. My Husband and two neices came with me, and everyone had a great time. The Purple Ocean is real. That's what we call a BTS concert when ARMY's light their ARMY Bombs (BTS Official Lightstick), and you can see the ocean of purple light, swaying to the music.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

They opened with On and Fire on Dec 01 as well. How is it possible that a 3 hour concert seemed like it lasted 5 minutes? The concert was transcendentally timeless. Reading your description brings it all back. Dancing? Check. Awash in a purple ocean? Check. 💜

They are sweating coz its the last song of their performance. They had the boy meets evil intro then blood, sweat and tears before fire. Compared to MMA 2019, this is mild. Though from 2016-2020 MMA, MAMA, GDA or other award shows are all amazing performance but i hope you’ll watch the whole performance coz its definitely worth your time.

For everyone saying MMA 2019 keep in mind they did a 37 min performance that is soooo over the top it’ll blow everything away. It’s absolutely bananas. Every Asian awards show performance is truly good though and BTS has a ton that are over the top.

You should watch Mic Drop live at the awards show, too! [BANGTAN BOMB] 2017 MAMA Mic Drop. (BTS focus) It's not an official MAMA video broadcast on TV, but a full-cam taken by Big Hit. I recommend this because the camera work on MAMA is so messed up. In this performance, Mic Drop was their 4th song, so the members were exhausted and held on with their mental strength only. And, there were even three dance breaks at this time. I can feel all of them Even if I die, I will die on stage. The energy is crazy! And I would recommend something that others wouldn't have recommended. :) 2017 KBS Music Festival Not Today This song was their fifth song at a Korean broadcasting station's year-end music festival(It's a kind of small award show, too.), so all BTS members were very exhausted. After 20 minutes of live performance in a row without a break, reporters said they were shocked to see all the members collapse in the waiting room. And... It's all band live! BTS LIve, wow would I LOVE to see them but finding them only last year I've never been to a live concert, just the online ones. Their energy and Army's must be something to experience. Not to bring the energy down or anything but I watched a reaction video today and it was BTS Hardship's by xCeleste and having read the comments I was so shocked to see what BTS & Army have been through. The hatred they experienced is unbelievable because they came from a small company and were doing so well. To see them performing here in 2016 ( (& in 2017), at the height of the hatred within SK and abroad) and the way they brought it to the audience (most likely the very people & their companies that caused them soooo much grief) makes me soooo proud of them and Army. Wow. Thanks to Army from day 1 keeping BTS going, they did something truly special. To get an idea of how bad it was even Army ended up suffering depression from all the attacks, never mind BTS. Some left the fandom as they couldn't cope with the vitriol. Well, look at both now, unstoppable, really FIRE! Fighting and borahae! 💜💜💜

As they grew in popularity, they were given more time at the awards shows, and, also fans of other groups grew to hate BTS more...pure jealousy. Yes, many will want you to watch the SPECTACULAR awards show 2019 MMA, but if you want to see the mv for each of the songs they perform so that you can watch them first, on their own, ARMY can give you a list. Said Army does not speak Korean at all, but because of this song knew that the Korean word for Fire is: bultaoreune. So to get the attention of the restaurant workers, she kept on pointing and saying Bultaoreune until the restaurant owner saw and put out the fire. 😊 S said on 12/22/22 There was another story where an int'l army was in a Korean restaurant and the food was not heated so she called waiter and asked him to heat the food again but the waiter couldn't understand so she literally sang bultaoreune and then that's when the waiter understood. If you start accepting new group suggestions, I'd like to plug a favorite group of mine as a potential reaction candidate. Their name is *Dreamcatcher* ! They are a seven member K-pop girl group that debuted in 2017. Known for their darker concepts (serious, dystopian, and/or spooky) and for being the only group to incorporate rock into all of their title tracks in some manner. Their earlier rock sound was heavily influenced by J-rock/pop (anime intro vibes). As time went on, their rock sound evolved into a more modern rock sound and they started mixing/blending in other genres. Almost all of their MVs are story driven. Some storylines span multiple MVs and others are standalone. All amazing vocalists (even their two rappers). Easily one of the most unique groups you'll experience in K-pop. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd suggest one of these two songs as a starter depending on what interests you more: - "BEcause" (2021) - Latest title track. Creepy af. Song lyrics are about obsessive love and the MV concept involves doppelgangers. The MV and choreography are influenced by, and have references to, the movie "Us". - "Scream" (2020) - First song in their "Dystopia" trilogy. The trilogy addresses and calls out anonymous harassment, bullying, and obsession with technology to try and escape that tough reality. It's all handled with well thought out lyrics and a shit load of symbolism in the MVs. If you decide to give them a chance, a pre-emptive thank you. If you don't react to them, you should really check them out when you have some free time. They're worth it. Again, thanks for the reactions!
