Unfortunately, definitely expected this so I didn’t watch. I told my friend (new-ish fan after getting her into them at the beginning of the pandemic) just last week as she was excited they were nominated about the last few years of BTS and the Grammys…told her that Army’s expectations were low for the win. 😭 After the numerous weeks that Butter and even Dynamite were trending, it’s sad that we cannot clench this win and still get used for views. Glad they were able to perform live though! It was fabulous! Just not pleased they had to hear the loss in person.

Not sure if it’s to help themselves feel better or to prevent Army from going on a mass strike against the system. 😅 Probably a combination of both but other artists wouldn’t do that after a loss. We stan a great group of individuals! 💜 Hopefully we’ll have better luck next time!

BTS needed a Grammy award this time.....their military issues still remain. If they won over an world class level award like Grammy, it would have been much helpful for dealing with this military service exemption issue. it is a very realistic concern.

The grammys don't favor boy bands at all. I might give my age away but nsync and the backstreet boys never won and they were nominated alot of times. so I never liked the grammys. bts deserve so much better. they came out and slayed tho.

Its funny how a lot are crying wolf when it comes to bts but don't realise what r&b/hip-hop has gone through with the grammys. The biggest genres the past few decades getting snubbed time and time again as some of the best singers and dancers in history watch on while the status quo pop artist seems to always win. Bts are very generic to the boybands of the past and they're not even American. Very copy catish but still talented no doubt.
