jimin also got a death threat when they were supposed to perform and jin did the most selfless thing and wore the same thing jimin was wearing to confuse the threat. it’s so beautiful how these men are so close and important to eachother that they are literally willing to risk their lives for one another. it really says soo much about their character.

Here’s the thing though: if BTS came from a really small company, with barely any money to look after the one group they had, how are they going to buy their own views and albums, The members had to literally use their own pocket moneys that were sent by their parents to produce and care for each other, people were just hating because they noticed how talented they were. And it’s sad to think that, because like BTS says (every artist should be given the chance to produce good music the right way and to be noticed for their hard work)

About Yoongi (Suga), he often tells us that he is happy nowadays, i don't think he is struggling with depression anymore (and i think as a fan we shouldn't push or cross the line by trying to analyze their behavior but rather believe them and support them as hard as we can, and I'm telling u guys because there's a lot of people who tends to do that, like if they don't see Taehyung (V) smiling somewhere they will directly assume he is sad when it's not the case, people just don't have to smile all the time + he himself said that he tends to have a blank face and people thinks he's cold when he isn't it's just his face goddamnit dksjks) About Bighit, they have, since 2018 I think (???) created an email to give ARMYs (or any other fandom whose artists are under Bighit) the possibility to link them to any malicious comment (Defamation, Hatred, Death Threats, Personal information divulgation, Sasaengs etc etc) so every time we see any type of hate content against BTS, we just fill the email with proofs, links, the IDs and all type of informations to make Bighit be able to sue those people as quick as they can ! And even tho it takes time (because of the amount of emails they receive each day) they eventually sue those people ! I usually don't even respond to hate tweets, I just email it to bighit with all the informations required..

yeah i agree people are now saying taehyung “changed” or he’s a new person and is now diagnosing him with depression and all that which is wrong. he told us about how he grew up more and is more mature but that doesn’t mean he’s depressed just because he doesn’t smile. taehyung is the type of guy along with yoongi to never fake a smile. so he smiles genuinely. and he’s still his normal self idk why people are acting like he’s suffering or something.

Please keep in mind, Korea has a totally different culture. They look at things differently, especially when it comes to the k pop world. For a long time when u stan a group, it would be the only group you stan. If u even said you liked another group and they said that u aren't a true fan. It has gotten a lot better. As for the points that were made, like the misogynistic situation. The song is "War of Harmone" (BTW, is one of my favorite songs) and the song is great...the video is cute and so them. All it's about how guys feel about girls during their teenage years...and believe me when I say everything they say is the truth. Don't get wrong, I'm glad that RM does what he does, it helps him make better music, however I don't think he should have been pressured into doing it over the song. The claims of copying was a bit much because every group does a schoolboy or school girl concept. The deaths have been made over the years to most of the members, the most recent was V when they were here fir his birthday and New Years Eve. Several of them have felt with depression, however, Jimin saved a lot of fans at the beginning. He was criticized a lot about his weight by antis and other groups fans. He took it to heart, and seeing how he is so hard on himself. So when they said what they said he starting dieting..he went as far as eating once every 10 days...he thought he had it under control, but it wasn't until another member started doing the same thing that he saw what he was doing. The other member was Jungkook. However, both of them are doing much better...

Thank you! The theme of the song is literally the title. I know people can interpret songs how they want, but it seemed pretty clear to me that the song was really about part of a boy's journey and struggles in growing up. A boy's change in feelings over someone they find themselves suddenly attracted to fit in with the theme exactly.

Stephanie Lemons I’m so glad for your comment, because I had no clue where the accusation regarding hatred to women could have came from. Although I can’t speak/read Korean, I plan on reading the English translation to get an understanding of its intentions. Regardless, it’ll still be hard to divert me from being a fan. The lyrics will have to extreme for that.

When yoongi opened up about his depression and even social phobia on his mixtape it was also very new to kpop industry because they are not kind with stuff like that. Their company bighit has therapists and councellors and gets the members to take them as revealed in a recent interview. Obviously they r under a lot of pressure in the industry with constant hate and expectations. The kind if hate bts recieved was so unnatural becs the kpop industry have NEVER had a group other than from the 3 huge companies making it big. They faced numerous malicious rumors and hat from the fandoms of other grps, its still going on and the most recent was when they trended hate trends for jimin in 2019😬 But its easier to counter hate now becs our fandom is huge now.

Just want to set the stage. Kpop is an industry in an of itself separate from the mainstream music industry in SK. And it is more than a genre. It's integrated music: concepts, styling, music and dance. Kpop is highly competitive. Thousands of performers train for years to become idols. They are treated as disposable, sadly, and groups come and go quickly and few have any longevity . For decades the industry was dominated by the "Big 3" entertainment companies and they ruled the charts in more than one way. These companies had a lot of financial influence over the entire industry. Their groups recieved the benefits of their power. Their groups ruled the weekly TV music shows and the charts. They would get all the attention and basically ruled the music charts. Idol life is not easy. Idols literally leave their homes and train with their agencies. They are completely managed; how they train, how they look , what they eat, how they dress, what they sing and how they dance. And all kpop groups have named fandoms with lightsticks. (Big Hit literally trade marked the logo and copy righted the name ARMY). The whole fandom thing is different in SK. Fandoms play a vital role because they are kinda like marketing. They really support the groups through sales and streaming. Kpop in SK is considered manufactured music. Often the groups took no part in the concepts or music. Most even lip synced their performances. BTS does not. (The industry is changing...) So cue Bang PD, the CEO for Big Hit. He worked for one of the big three and wanted to do something differently. He left and formed his own agency. He did have a few failed artists before BTS debuted. (In BTS early years they nearly went bankrupt 3 times.) He wanted to form a group that would be more connected to their music, who wrote and produced, who had stories and their own messages to tell. This autonomy was not common in the industry ( I believe other idols were jealous). But BTS did have a ton of drive. While they still were idols in the sense of the fandom, styling, management and concepts they were different because they were able to contribute to their music and concepts. BH was poor and had to fight against the influence the Big 3 had over everything including the media, the tv shows, the charts etc. BH literally had to scrape their way into the industry with their one group competing against companies with literally tens of groups. They were bullied, made fun of and basically discarded as Nobodies. Bang PD is so intelligent. He began uploading content to YT and gaining lots of international fans. They really did help escalate BTS to popularity in their own country. When I say their own country didnt know them until 2016-2017 I mean it and many disregarded them as idols not artists. (BTS themselves have struggled with the label but do call themselves Idols.) They were still disregarded as just idols not artists. It wasnt until getting major international recognition did they begin to get noticed...and it blew up fast. It took 2 years for them to get a win on a weekly music show. (Which is a long time and they had put out several albums before any trcognition.) They slowly grew a very loyal fanbase that really helped them. Fans literally gave the boys food and gifts like clothes and game stations during fansigns. I feel their success grew because the company and the fans never let them fail. BH has always treated them as artists and they were kind of isolated from the rest of the industry for a long time. They had no other groups to lean on. They've only had one another. And they have never failed themselves. They just kept pushing and ARMY has their back. It's really a unique relationship. We say Karma is an ARMY because the more hate they received the more they grew. It's why Big Hit and ARMY fights aggressively for BTS. Dont worry about them. Each member has a personal manager and they have access to mental healthcare, physical therapists, nutritionist, doctors, etc. Namjoon has spoken openly about his therapist. This is a rarity in SK too. Mental health is taboo still. Suicide among young people due to the stresses still happens. Bang takes care of his boys. He talks to them about finding happiness and their personal wellness. My guess is they are treated better than most idols. They are more like a family. While they lived in that one room for a few years theres no need to worry now. BH bought them a 7 million dollar luxury 5 br apartment in one of the wealthiest gated, private communities in Seoul and the boys reportedly still live together even though they all own personal residences elsewhere. (Jin paid cash for a unit right down the hall from the one they are in now.) Just wanted to give you some insight as to why they got all the hate...they were literally up- ending and entire industry...its just no one realized it! Now BH is THE largest entertainment kpop company. They have debuted another boy group, TxT and acquired some smaller agencies and their artists like GFriend and plan to debut a new girl group in the future. BTS will always be the backbone for BH but the boys will need to take a 2 year hiatus to serve in the military so this growth is great for BH. BTS actually contributes (I cant remember the actual %) like I think 5% to the entire economy of SK...similar to a mid size company! Their Seoul tours brought in more economic impact to Seoul than the Olympics! And despite all of this BTS remain humble, grounded, hard working, driven GENTLE men with a deep passion for their music, their relationship with one another and their fans just trying to make positive changes in this world. We dont deserve them. Ps. BTS signed a second 7 year contract a little over a year ago so they will be with BH for another 5years. (Most groups do not stay together last this long). Peace. And you are champs if you read all this. It's just feels like you genuinely care.

That song that was played at the end of the video is called “2!3!” and it’s a really touching song because it was BTS' promise to the ARMYs. BTS had written/produced that song dedicated for the ARMYs as the first official fan song. Before that song was released on 2016 there was a long period of time when BTS and ARMYs were receiving so much hardships and hate from other people. ARMYs kept on counter attacking those hates while BTS are defending the ARMYs. The amount of hate that BTS are receiving compared to other groups are ridiculous. Up until now, the question "what has BTS done to deserve all those hates?" still lingers on us. They've always been very humble, down to earth and respectful towards others. It's so unfair why people have to hate them and try to ruin their career. It was so hard at that time, then the song came out on OCTOBER 10, 2016 (track #14) and it made us all cry. BTS knew that as they went through every hardships along their journey, the ARMYs are going through the same and yet the ARMYs still believe in them and fight for them no matter what. It's like BTS is telling us that it sucks that we really can't walk on a perfect path without struggles and without receiving hates from other people but still everything will be okay as long as we are together walking at the same path and never stop believing in each other. I remember, after that BTS went live and they said that no matter what happens, we have to protect each other always. They usually perform that song at the encore part of their concerts, they let the fans sing with them and as the music ends the fans continue to sing without the music and that's one of the most beautiful parts of their concerts. BTS had already released a bunch of fan songs for the ARMY (like Magic Shop, Pied Piper, Love Myself, Mikrokosmos, etc.) but "2!3!" will always be that song that holds a special place in our hearts that no other song can replace.💜 And yes, BTS/BIGHIT/ARMY is a family. We got each other's back, protect, defend, support each other and make each other happy and proud.💜 Please react to “2!3!” By BTS (lyric video) And the “2!3! LIVE-PURPLE OCEAN PROJECT” 😊

I've been into K-Pop for quite some time now, over a decade. I'm a VIP, Blackjack, Baby, EXO-L, Incle as well as I am an Army. It's really sad that some fans of these groups don't get along, and/or bring down each other. But the thing is, this isn't new. I've witnessed the same thing happened many times over the years, not just to BTS - all the unhealthy competitions between fandoms, the comparisons, the hates. Why can't we just enjoy music as it is and support all the artists? It doesn't matter if it isn't your cup of tea, the keyword here is respect. The least you could do is respect. If another group does better than your favourite group, then do something more productive. Go stream, download, vote, or whatever. Why waste your energy on spreading hate? What would it do? Would it help your favourite group get number 1, or artist of the year? No! It especially breaks my heart when fandoms that I'm a part of fight with one another. Like, I'm torn. I wanna defend one group, but it's also unfair for the other group because I love them both just as much. I know sometimes, some fans can be really rude but I don't know man, I'm just really torn. Most times, I just ignore them and continue to support both groups as I always have over the years.

regarding Suga's depression. I guess it depends on if he has chronic depression or if it was just because of certain circumstances that he had depression, but he is doing soooo much better and the other members says he is so much happier these days which is great. Yeah BTS really inspired me... like ive been bullied for 2 years and ive never tell my family bout that (my fam is kinda strict). And that makes me so depressed like for a year, that it affected my health mentally and physically. I was so depressed that even $uicide cross my mind. It even made me lost my passion for being a medstud. But their musics , their messages, how they relied and helping on each other really inspired me. And finally one day i gather my courage and tell my family bout my story. Now Im in a healthy and a happy place. Im really thankful to BTS for giving me the strength to tell the truth💜💜

Suga talks about his mental health all the time and basically gives ARMYs updates on how he’s doing. Granted we get these “updates” are always after he’s gone through whatever he’s writing about, but it’s nice that he knows we care enough to want to know how he’s doing. He’s talk about it the most in his mixtape AgustD, especially in the song “The Last” 💜

I can't believe I am only seeing your reaction now... You two are beautiful people inside and out, so incredibly sympathetic and open-minded, and you also have great insight every time you pause to comment on something. I really enjoyed your video, and I'll check out your other reactions. BTS have and will always be criticized and put down... Unfortunately, the bigger your success gets, the worst the hate becomes. Jealousy is an ugly thing. A big part of the hate probably comes from denial, no one can actually see the message they displayed in each song, each album, at their speech at the UN or during concerts and actually disagree with it, because it is a universal message that touches each and every human being on this planet. Antis just put on blinders and find every stupid excuse to take digs at them, instead of maybe trying to love and better themselves as BTS encourages, in order to be able to appreciate others. Hate often comes from a lack of confidence. But all the hate in the end makes BTS stronger and makes ARMYs more determined to protect and support them.

That’s the thing with antis, they don’t understand how many times they may try to take us down that they never can and never will break BTS’s love for ARMY’s and vice versus, they came from something so small and now they’re legends. They put much more energy into being negative that they really don’t see how amazing BTS really is! I’ll always love BTS and I love how much they’ve taught me and they’ve helped me through so many of my own troubles just through their music! 💜💜🤧

Letssss gooo!! The extra tickets! So sweet! I’m not in Toronto! But I’m flying to Seoul in April for beginning of the tour at Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul! I somehow got lucky enough to win the raffle that Big Hit does and somehow got FLOOR SEATS to the Seoul concert! I have no idea how it happened. Toronto would be a much easier travel story but winning raffle for a BTS ticket for the start of the tour in their home city?! I couldn’t pass up the opportunity! Anyway I hope someone in Toronto that can’t afford tickets wins! Very excited for them. Thank y’all for doing that. I hope y’all have a blast at the concert!

As what I have known about the battling depression and all, Suga is battling depression and the others have been battling their own battles as well that are not always shown to us, however if you tend to like know them better, you'll get the idea that this member is battling with this and all. And I thing Namjoon mentioned that they have a counselor at the their entertainment, he may have mentioned something about that on their documentary or I don't know, I forgot. He said sometimes they go as a group and sometimes just one of them.

watching your vids feel like having deep talks with you guys thank you for reacting to these vids. :) Honestly the relationship between BTS and Army is so special, there's no other fandom could compete to this level of love and relationship. BTS is so talented and hardworking but they never forget to mention Armys in all of their achievements, they feel like they always owe it to the Armys, so the Armys work even harder for them. They are so open with us, the love they give to us is unconditional, to the point they even write songs about armys, like a love letter, i dont know any artist who could do that. Again you guys are amazing 💜

Suga manages very well, and late 2018 we saw a huge change in him, he started being more open and he seemed to be enjoying things more. He's said many times he's happy now and we should take his word for it. Now as far as his social Anxiety we know he still deals with it, but he deals with it very well most of the time. There's no reason for us to worry and I don't think he'd want us to worry for no reason. All the stuff they went through back then was horrible. And XCelest only touched on some of it. I know newer ARMYs see these vids and get mad and feel the need to protect BTS from everything but I do hope we as ARMY continue to follow BTS's messages- all of them, we shouldn't hold grudges, but never forget. We shouldn't lash out, instead keep supporting these seven talented guys. Their music has always had these messages, it wasn't these incidents that sparked this new series of albums but rather their constant desire to grow and be honest and look out for the future. They taught us to love ourselves but now they're teaching us how to find ourselves, our true selves and be like us and not try to be like others or how others want us to be. They've always pulled from their own experiences though, but yeah I wouldn't say that all this sparked what they're talking about now, at least not fully.

Not sure if anyone else mentioned, but the song at the end is '2! 3!' which I believe it's one of the first fan songs that BTS wrote to comfort Army and the crowd sang it back to BTS after the song ended to comfort BTS. This isn't a singular instance and has happened with other songs, but this song/instance is probably my favorite of them.
