As a black army, I always recommend HOME, Dimple, Ugh, My Time, Love Maze, Pied Piper, Stigma, etc to my friends who are trying to understand why I love BTS. So many people don't really get what we vibe to as a culture. So, they always recommend Mic Drop to black people and I'm like, uh Mic Drop is cool and everything, but HOME is more our vibe. We just love R&B, we can't help it. Anyway, I loved your reaction. That's how I felt when I first listened to the album. Unfortunately they don't usually promote their R&B songs, so the general public would probably never hear them. It's unfortunate to me, b/c I imagine if HOME was a lead single, they could have done more damage on the charts.

When this album first came out last year and I listened through, Home was definitely my jam. It makes me feel like I’m driving on the west coast with friends with the top down and breeze in my hair. I love BTS, on top of what you probably, they have some good R&B and hip-hop stuff, the kind you just don’t hear that often anymore these days. Since Home wasn’t a single, there was no music video but one live performance back in December/January. So now I feel like this cool performance feels like it’s a music video :)

Here are a few suggestions: * "Outro: Tear" live performance * "Dimple" & "Pied Piper" live performance * "ON" live performance Grand Central Station on Jimmy Fallon * "Ddaeng" live performance *** Their live performances are great but some don't have English subs. But just amazing to watch them perform live & their vocals are superb. *** Some of the MV have English subs if you turn it on, like the Mic Drop MV you watched. *** You might also like their dance practice... check out the "Mic Drop" dance practice when they were preparing for an award show. Please take note that when you're watching a BTS mv don't just concentrate on the one singing but you should be watching what's going in the background. BTS mv's have deep messages and almost all are inter connected. I suggest you watch their early mv before watching the latest one so that you would fully understand and know BTS. They are not just your run of the mill boy band. And warning that once you get in to the rabbit hole there is no turning back. Just enjoy the ride and keep an open mind. I love when the boys say "home" in Spanish. "Mi casa". because it is my mother tongue. And even in Portuguese is "mi casa", too. So, they are speaking in 4 languages. Korean, English, Spanish and Portuguese. But bts home song live in Busan, is one of my fav concerts, because Jungkook and Jimin were born in Busan. And that city is their home.
