don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the bts universe. but j*den j*ong had been trying to get some version of the loonaverse made since at least 2014 (lovelyz debut), so I doubt it was inspired by bts

HYYH is gold. Not old, just GOLD. This made me fall hard for them, their music and what they stand for. I hope new Armys or even those just curious about BTS, explore and take the time to appreciate this era. Apobangpo! 💜

This video is criminally underrated, i loved it! Thank you for the work you put into making and editing it. I got into BTS during the Dope! era, and HYYH pt. 2 was a very very highly anticipated album for me. I was 16 at the time and even though i didn't understand all of the beats of the story, the overall message was very impactful for me during those very tough times. Even though my story was very different, that transition from teen to young adulthood is a universal experience and the emotions during that time are similar for everyone. I felt understood and heard during a time I was most alone. Bts has helped me become a person i can be proud to be, with all my faults and failures, and all my seccesses making up the brightest stars in the constellation of my life. I appreciate RM's words from his UN speech, which I will borrow here, and I appreciate all their songs and what they stand for. Its been an absolute honor watching them rise and gain the success and recognition they deserve, and I will be forever grateful I was here, alive in this world to witness it. 💜

FINALLY SOMEONE MAKES A VIDEO ESSAY ABOUT THIS TOPIC! ARGH! I was seriously contemplating of making my own but you beat me to it, thank you so much! The storytelling of the BU especially HYYH era was what sucked me into this fandom in the first place, I have never seen storytelling like this before so I was extremely intrigued. I've always been fond of cryptic storytelling and symbolism because, as you pointed out, it creates an active audience full of intellectual discussions. When I joined this fandom I never thought I'd gain knowledge about traditional Korean folktales, Carl Jung, and greek mythology. I think that's what makes it special: creating a productive and accessable environment surrounding art. It feels like BTS gives us pieces of art in the form of puzzles and us fans assemble it into a masterpiece, so we contribute into that art and the storytelling as well. It's beautiful and meaningful. Oh and the TXT universe is insanely good as well, been a fan of then since forever and I can never stoo gushing about it
