I've also heard a theory about the building behind them while they're dancing... In the DNA mv they started the construction of the building but then in the Fake Love mv, this building became rusty because it was "fake love". Now in the Idol mv the building is finished because they leaned how to love themselves.

Cam B If you love them you don't want to control them. That makes me both sad and angry. I love how creative they are and s s stylish. I love that they try different things and wear different things. I used to live in Los Angeles and when I would see someone famous I would smile and nod if I caught their eye just to acknowledge them but I never took up their time when it was their own. The only time I had a right to talk to them was if I had bought a ticket and I was back stage. Then it was paid time. They might be famous but that doesn't mean their personal time is something they owe me for a photo, autograph or even a handshake. If everyone they see does that how do they get anything done in a day? I have been fortunate to get backstage passes because my fiancé worked with people in music but I never once took anyone's personal time. I find it wrong and it really is because of thinking if it's ok for me why not everyone else and then these people can have no normal life at all where they are not hiding someplace and THAT makes me sad. What if I was their gf, would I want a life where we couldn't breathe? No, I don't intrude and I don't know why other people don't understand that too.

The spin to the ground choreo( just before they sat in the chairs)=Save Me. Jimin throwing the cap=Bulletproof pt2. The whale drawing=Whalein. And I bet there are more. The drawing by Suga looks like Shooky. This MV is a history of BTS.

can you explain about jimins drawing..(the devil dragon) n jungkook twerking.. i'm so corious about that.. tx b4.
@pambarab55066 жыл бұрын
I think the dragon was because it belongs to Korean tradition. JK twerking... No idea, but it was so funny. Wait. Did Nicki Minaj twerk in any of her MVs? I really just think he did it for fun.
@frhyewfwd25796 жыл бұрын
the spinning dance is one of Korean traditional dance. If you watch 'samulnori' full version, you can see that dance moves. the scene what xceleste explain as korean dance is perfectly correct.
@pambarab55066 жыл бұрын
Ah! Thank you. It looked like the very last move in Save Me. They spin around and drop to their knees as the song ends.
@frhyewfwd25796 жыл бұрын
pambarab In Korea, that kind of dragon doesn't exist in tradition. Instead of that, it means anger inside of Jimin(the drawing is like psychotherapy.) when he made fire out of his mouth, he is surrounded by tons of cameras and hands.(look closely the purple line around the picture. you also can see same cctv,hands in concept photo.)

i heard one korean reactor say that the fan jimin use is usually used by girls, maybe they just wanted to use something korean, but maybe its a clap back against how people say they look like girls but maybe here he's saying so what I still look so hot and sexy with it and i don't care
@lynntorres91826 жыл бұрын
I read that they used the fans as a weapon on old Koreans wars, because swords or some other weapons were banned....and they used feathers to hide and conceal razor blades or poison..........I don’t think women went to wars during Joseon era...🤔💜
@Littlecasia6 жыл бұрын
I didn't mean all fans, the reactor said that type of fans. And women while they didn't go to war, definitely used fans back in history in Asia. It was like an accessory and even for some, another way to show their wealth or status, etc
@shellyshell77575 жыл бұрын
This might be a long shot, but it's possible that the fan does hint to how people say they look like girls, but also how some people believe that they "act like girls" because they are so affectionate with each other. It could be saying that they don't care, and that being "manly" is relative
@user282215 жыл бұрын
In Joseon era (if you watch historical K-Drama), you will notice that the upper class males usually carry a fan with them. So, it's part of their culture. Jimin used a similar fan when performing the fan dance during MMA 2018 and the Korean Fan Dance Association awarded Jimin with an Honorary Plaque for his performance. That means the Association did not see anything 'incorrect' with Jimin's choice of fan.

This shows that almost EVERYTHING big or small bts has either seen or heard it before. The part with the pedistol effect really stood out to me because idol is also referred to any object or person that ppl have placed their actual emotions or feelings to (technically worshipping that object or person). Reminds me of the famous golden calf story in the bible in exodus. It's really amazing to see how they are trying to say that this present mv is who they are & how much cultural influences, lessons plus reality issues they have faced & others do face every day especially those who are in the entertainment industry
@bangtanwings48545 жыл бұрын

6:20 it breaks my heart at how namjoon just says "okay i won't", i know he might be trying to be nice, but you can't just take in all the comments/criticism people give you, i also never realized how meaningful the idol mv was, i loved it so much at how they all stood up for their own criticism. All of the hate comments that people give to them, they won't forget it, instead they're going to show us and build up on how they don't have to listen to anyones comments, but instead show that, i can be myself if i want to, go ahead and criticize me, it won't affect me because "i love myself".

In Jhope’s scene, he is with that balloon man. The balloon man is always smiling and standing up and waving to attract attention even though it’s blown about and seems like it will fall. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. The symbolism and meaning is so complex and spans so many years, yet you've kept it simple and engaging. There are a few people who are accusing BTS of catering to the west. And yet its so clear that their musicality, the sophistication of a storyline that spans years and displaying their proudly Korean heritage flies in the face of that logic. I think for African ARMY, its such a proud moment to see them elevate the African continent in a move that could be considered risky, not "western". Well done.
@sml59676 жыл бұрын
Really appreciate how much work u put in this girl good job👏👏 On a side note, BTS literally has MADE and weaved together an entire universe over the past 2 years and everything down to the material and sources of the clothes they wear are all linked together. And layered on TOP of that is them discussing extremely relevant and important topics that idols let alone artists anywhere never do. Just the SCALE and INTRICACY of everything they’ve created in only a time frame of 2 years is so amazing. This is a whole new level of story telling and people still sleeping on them saying they’re overrated. Name me a few other artists who go to this extent? I’m waiting.
@harley_queen46196 жыл бұрын
People say that they are overrated because 1-They have not a strong vocal like Exo. And that the vocal line scream and don't song. 2-Their choreography are like others choreography of others groups. 3-Rap Line are not the best rapper in K-pop 4-They are not better (or they are less talented )that SM, YG artits and that ARMYs over hyped them. That B.A.P are deep messages Seventeen are better because they can make concept, choreography ...and that BTS it is Big Hit .....😪😪😪so much argument about them. I don't care, everybody don't love the same thing, we are different. I choose of ignore and wait for their new era 😊😊in peace and with ARMYs.

I want to talk how they also spread love here and try to unite people, using lots of Asian and African things, also something Western and Jungkook is wearing Russian t-shirt despite the dirty politics. Politicians try to exclude Russian people even from Olympics but BTS don't wanna do that, they want to unite people. People from every referenced culture can feel connected and also feel patriotic, singing "I do what I do, I know who I am, you can't stop me loving myself". The T-shirt says "мир" - peace/world, so let's unite and bring peace into the world. I'm sorry for rambling, but since BTS are fighting prejudice, I want to say this. I was listening to BBC global news while they were covering World Cup, and they were like "it's a great opportunity for Russians to meet people from other cultures and to broaden their views", like those living in Saint Petersburg haven't seen tourists yet. Maybe those reporters are not educated enough, I don't know, but Russia is a multicultural, multiconfessional country itself. It's not my country actually, but it's my roots and I hate prejudice. The place where I live, we are enduring hatred, I don't know if I'll even see the end of this, but I'm so proud of BTS because they are not afraid of those politics, I'm thankful for their support. And I keep remembering now their Satoori rap, that's what my country needs, and most of all it needs love. BTS, thank you for spreading love, for embracing other cultures and for being yourself no matter what.

I always knew that BTS was more than just a K-pop group... Their music videos are more than just catchy concept and colours... And the meaning is more than just a storyline.... They aren't typical celebrities... They are changing the concept of an Idol... And I'm proud of them.... Being a celebrity isn't easy... Being judged all the time... Haters.. even fans can be a pressure... I have always felt and thought about these things... I know it gets hard for them ... But I'm glad they are accepting themselves.. I know they will break the current concept of an Idol... And they are someone I can relate to... I look up to them... Not as someone perfect... Not as someone godlike... No... I look up to then because I feel I can relate to them... I understand their messages... And I try to understand them... I hope people will appreciate them like this also... Haters must stop hating BTS without knowing anything.. And even fans need to give them a rest...

I also noticed something. BTS have made a lot of references on Disney, for example: -The shirt of Suga, with Snow White on it -J-Hope's part in Anpanman, mentionning Nemo -In Arplaine pt1, J-Hope also mention Alice of Wonderland -Bugs Bunny (not from Disney but still in the genre) I feel like all those things are connected, but I don't find a proper explanation for this. I first thought that all those "childish" things could meant that J-Hope was kinda stuck in his past (when his mother abandonned him?). But then why would Suga wear the Snow White shirt and not Hoseok? Idk... I'm sorry if my english sucks, I'm a french speaker 😅

Every single time I watch BTS MVs and later heard the explanation. The respect and love for BTS increases to a different height. One thing I do not like about the armies who have biases they literally do shots to other members they don't like I think they should really stop because they should understand that when they do this to one member it affects all the other including their bias. The part where armies said v don't look with specs on and to NAMJOON bait to use filters and to open his eyes wide. I couldn't believe it that Armies were doing this because how BTS works hard for us and never forget mention us no matter what they do. It really hurts to see them like this. I really hope this stops and we love them as a whole and not individual cuz even if one member was missing they wouldn't have been BTS and we wouldn't have known them.

Also... References to their drawing, I believe there is some other meaning into it, but I could not remember the vids I watched before about those so. Tae's part while other people besides him. It's like a scene from "fans" not giving a space to their idols in Airport or other places. "I'm so fine wherever I go" It could interpret as I'm fine( I'm good looking wherever I go) and I'm fine as I'm good/okay wherever I go or I'm fine wherever I go so don't tell me where the places I could go. There was a threat to Jimin before so I think it could be interpreted the 2nd example I said? And thank God nothing really happened to him or any of them. Idk, I'm not good at making theories, I'll let the army experts handle BTS theories.

I heard that the picture they drew is their inside mind like psychotherapy. purple line around pictures is many arms and cctvs what we already saw in concept photos. still there are so many interesting things to figure out in this MV. anyway thank u for the good quality clip! :)

I found it interesting - and funny - that the shark (haters/industry - or whatever it represents) sings along with BTS. LOL. Great vid xCeleste! I always love watching your theories, reactions and stuff like this. Keep up the excellent work, girl! 👍 💜

This actually made me emotional, almost cried because of how many symbolisms are on point and makes this you think more about people in general and the morals of our world. Well done and thank you. :)

no one is talking about the drawings! and even how the frame is made up of hands and cameras like the concept photo. argh!
@pambarab55066 жыл бұрын
Good one! I saw the hands, but not the cameras!

Right! I noticed the hands and cameras, but I wanted to know what the drawings meant or why they were there.

Jin's drawing of the whale=Whalein. Jimin's drawing of the dragon=traditional Korean. Yoongi's drawing looks like Shooky. This is just my thoughts on the drawings.
@nabindu79796 жыл бұрын
pambarab the other two make sense but you threw me off with Yoongi’s, I had thought that too but what’s up with the measurements? And what about Jungkook’s
@pambarab55066 жыл бұрын
I even looked up Shooky products, looking for sizes, but found nothing. Is the dragon not in a frame JK's drawing?

I love how they used things "fans" say about them and mobbing them. I really hope those "fans" that are obsessed or only want there idol in one way stop doing what they are doing. As much as I love them they also can get annoying too. It's also unhealthy to do such things. I really hope they stop. Also, bts knew what life they were going to choose before they became idols. There are any idols that go through so many things as idols and are not emotionally stable for it all. I hope the best for all idols and wish them the best in life. Everyone is human and some people forget that sometimes. Even if it's a empowering song, it still has hidden dark message behind it.
