Honestly at first I didn't see where it was going and I was like "Is this gonna be angsty or something?" (i forgot to read the title xD) But then it clicked. Not all relationships have those fluttery happy beginnings and it doesn't always follow the cliché mid-struggles-to-a-happy-end path. People can be insecure about the love their given especially after they've been deprived of it for so long. Their used to be by themselves and even tho they do want love and affection from somebody, this can be very hard to take all of a sudden. I loved this. It really reminds me of a relationship I was in - even though the story is very different. But I was really unhappy and stressed and I took it out on the person I was with. I got annoyed at every little thing they did and I basically just became an asshole in the end. The relationship ended quite a while ago now (I'm fine). I think my situation was more a "you can't love anyone before you learn to love yourself"- kind of situation. Even though my situation is very different from this one, it still reminded be of it. I'm regretful, just like Yoongi in the end. But I'm not regretful because I miss the person I was with and because I want to be with them again, we're better off like this. But I'm regretful for being mean and an ass and for breaking their heart.

I'm not fan of these kind of fanfictions in KZbin, but there's something on this title and thumbnail that made me clicked it. I thought it would be the cliche type of story again but... Wow... this love story is VERY similar to mine. he was my best friend and i started to have feelings for him. i confessed and been rejected several times for the same reason. i’ve been pushing him that we should change things and become a couple, but he really didn’t want to because he wasn’t ready. so he ghosted me... didn’t talk to me for months but he came back and said that exact line, “relationships are scary but i can’t lose you so let’s do it.” but in tagalog. that was very immature of me. i am just thankful that he is understanding. he educates me in the things i didn’t know about love. but if i had to turn back time.. i wanted him to fall in love with me naturally, not because i pushed him to. my advice is if you love someone, please put yourself in their shoes and don’t be too selfish. it takes time, so you won’t have any regrets and you’ll have lesser pain in the future. think things thoroughly and don’t be impulsive when making decisions that will haunt you for a long time.

First off- I already wrote this whole damn comment and I accidentally deleted it. I'm dumb. Second- here's what I was originally gonna say. I really wanted to be upset as Y/N and understand where she's coming from, which I do, but I just couldn't. I understood so much more of what was going on with Yoongi. I felt so bad for him, having all the blame be put on him when it was a situation and a problem he really couldn't fix. I'm kind of mad at Y/N, but that's only because of my own personal relationship that I'm in. I know that you've liked him for a while, but that does't mean force him into a relationship. I've been the closest of friends with my boyfriend for years. We met online and hit it off right away. I loved him for years before we got together, and he knew. He also liked me but just wasn't ready for anything yet and we were still too young for him to feel okay with being in such a committed relationship. So I stayed as his best friend and never, ever pushed him into dating me. It just came.. and never once did it become awkward between the two of us. We're both happy that we waited and didn't rush a relationship. I'm just putting this out there for anyone who needs this kind of advice. Take things slow. They don't need to be rushed. The person will be there for you at the end of the day if they truly care. Author-nim, this is nothing against you. I love the story and what you put out. I just felt the need to voice my opinions ^^. I don't like it when people force others into anything. Even without noticing it, you could push someone into something they don't want. If you continuously bring the subject up, they'll feel pressure and you'll pressure them into whatever it is. Just keep this in mind people.
