I've seen some embarrassing first pitches, so I was worried sick for Hobi. But while he was standing on the mound, I remembered how he practiced everything. So I hoped he practiced pitching. And it looks like he did! His pitch was straight as an arrow to the catcher. Yes, Hobi rose to yet another occasion and shined like the sun he is!

The pitcher's mound is 60 feet - almost 20 metres!! - away from the batter at home plate. It looks so far when you're standing there. 😮 He did a good job; there are some hilarious videos around of celebrities who barely make it halfway. He did a great job. I bet he practiced a lot before. (Psst.....I can't wait to see his beautiful long hair growing back. And I bet our fashion conscious friend is thrilled to be out of those boring fatigues ) 😊

Fun fact about the purple glove: designed by an Army who works at the company who makes the baseball gloves. She had it delivered to Hybe not knowing if he’d use it at the game, but was so surprised and happy he did.
