I’m thinking that he knows “survival English” pretty well but might find listening to the news to be difficult. As a Korean student now, I can go to the Korean store or restaurant and ask for what I want, but watching a Korean TV program without subtitles takes me back to childhood when 엄마 would get together with her classmates and speak Korean but as a kid, I didn’t understand anything

The trainees under Sergeant Jung Hoseok’s command were so lucky to have someone who is strict but fair. I can’t understand why they weren’t given water bottles as part of their kit. TG for Hobi being kind and providing them. He’ll need to keep speaking English to improve his fluency. He’s improved a lot so he just needs the practise.

OH papasito,all BTS 7Army 7ANGLES had pick-up English but they don't want to admit it, to the public, but they use it there English for business wise,most of the time ok. I think Lee Hyun meant "too much pressure." Like he was probably pressured to make the show as perfect as possible since his first guest was Hobi, who is a huge star. The translations are not always that accurate. 💜
