someone asked jimin in a live and he said that they fought cause jimin wanted to eat dumplings after practice but tae was hungry and wanted to eat before and their bickering turned into a full blown fight and the members had to get involved to calm them down. Jimin says that to this day he doesn’t know why he was so sensitive and why it blew up the way it did which is why the incident is so legendary

They had to go to the same school after joining Big Hit and moving to Seoul (Jimin and V are from diff cities). It was in their last years of high school tho, since they're the same age Big Hit put them together at the Korean Arts High School 😊

The dumpling incident is basically about how one person wanted to eat before practice (Tae) while the other one wanted to eat after (Jimin). It then escalated into a pride battle amongst each other haha

So Jimin went live recently and talked about the behind the scenes of this song. He mentioned that he actually made the rough draft for it and the producer touched it up and told him that they were going to put it on the album, and then they decided who was going to sing on it. After going through a process, Jimin and V were chosen, so they made a song about they’re friendship. Because they recorded separately due to their schedules, they would leave little notes for each other in the song. Like V would sing and then say “Hey I think we should do this” or something like that. They did this everyday they recorded which I thought was pretty cute. Now Jimin also talked about the dumpling incident. This happened 4 years ago. Jimin suggested that they eat the dumpling after practice, but V was so hungry that he wanted to eat before practice. Both of them were stubborn about their point and it escalated. They got into such a huge fight that the members had to calm them down and yelled at them to exist the practice room. Jimin and V still bickered outside of the practice room saying “you should’ve listened to me” and stuff like that. They even fought about who should apologize first. Jimin said about 4-5 hours later they were okay. In the past they argued a lot over little things. They always pointed out their mistakes in practice and so forth. They don’t do that as much anymore. Jimin pointed out the phrase “Arguments bring people closer” and said that he feels like that happened to them. Now when they practice and point out each other’s mistakes, they respond with okay and fix it. They know how to resolve their arguments quickly before they start.

Inner child is my ultimate favorite song in this album , I cried so much Everytime listening to it , V is talking to his younger self , but in a way it's like he's talking directly to my younger self , I had a very bad childhood , growing up in an abusive house , struggling with school etc etc etc , I had no memorable memory , I was not okey until I met bts last year and now am a very confident 20 years young lady , even though the sorrows of the present are gone becuz bts found me but my younger self was so broken and full of scars unfortunately but after listening to inner child , it's like magic , my younger me is a bit comfortable , that song is real remedy , I comforted her by saying and admitting that it's okey I'm fine , am living my life now and thanks God that my suicide attempt failed , so happy to be here where I am now " 💜💜💜💜💜💜

Fun facts about the lyrics 1. Jimin's line "hello my alien". Alien was Tae old nickname because of his unique n 4D personality that people found out as interesting, funny yet weird (because out of box). But this nickname didnt get use anymore 2. Tae's lyrics mentioning "promise with ur little pinky". Jimin has the smallest pinky finger in the group n jimin also has a solo song 'promise' 3. Tae's line " hey Jimin today". This is BTS inside joke to call every members who coming late when they get ready to go out or for work. It because Jimin often get late, so when other come late than Jimin they will call the late member "hey, you are Jimin today". 4. The dumpling incident that Jimin mentioned, Tae n Jimin once fight about dumplings. They want to eat dumplings together but they get fight for what time or when they will eat it, it's before they went to practice or after the practice lol and this was also the time V wrote the song 4 O'clock bcoz of this incident. 5. The dreamcatcher that hanging in Tae's room for 7 years. It when Tae told Jimin that he had a nightmare n it makes him hard to get sleep well. So Jimin bought a dreamcather for Tae in hope it can protect him n catch Tae's nightmare so he can sleep well. 6.even all BTS members is close to each others, but Tae n Jimin often said that they are a soulmate for each others n they want to be a friend forever even they are being a granpa. One of my favorite song from MOTS7, simply because it’s so touching and personal. You see, Taehyung always wanted to sing a song with Jimin. And then this happen. They met in Seoul when they were both training under bighit and went to the same school. Taehyung was Jimin’s first friend. The”Hello my Alien” refers to Taehyung Pinky fingers = Jimin’s The Dumpling incident, Jimin told this during Vlive that they did fight simply because Tae wants to eat before practice while Jimin wants it after practice. Jimin told the fans that it may not as deep as you think but the fight was really huge that the members told them to leave the practice studio. Jimin even drank because of this. The dreamcatcher is when Tae had a nightmare, jimin bought him one. I really value their friendship especially in the chorus part where they said that if the cheers dies down, stay. It’s like when they are not popular anymore or if they are older, they will still stay with each other.

They went to school together while they were trainees, and became best friends. But like all friends they fought.....and the boys all lived together in a 2 bedroom house, one for their manager, one for the 7 of them to share. So they all fought, but they say Jimin and V fought the most.....and of course they learned how to deal with it and each other, so Suga said these days none of them really have fights or arguments anymore. They have grown, so if they disagree they know how to deal with it better than when they were younger.

In a recent Vlive Jimin said they did used to argue about every little thing lol, like if one of them was on a diet and the other would order food they would argue about not being a surportive friend and little things like that....the dumpling thing was that Tae wanted to eat before rehearsal and Jimin wanted to wait till after the practice so they argued about that so much that the rest of the group told them to just leave the room and they did and kept arguing outside ,Jimin said he’s embarrassed about that now he knows it wasn’t a big deal but back then it was 🤣 The sound after ‘hey jimin...’ is a bottle opening , since back then they couldn’t be really foward or public about going out or drinking they had their ways to sneak out and they drinking together The dream catcher was bc Tae had a nightmare one time and mentioned it and Jimin then bought a dream catcher and gave it to him for his room 💜

Jimin joined Tae's school a little later than him, so Tae told a friend of his (who was in Jimin's class) to take care of Jimin and make sure he settles in well. Also, Jimin said that yes, they really did use to fight that much, over every little thing. But one day in 2018 or so, they had one long conversation that finally managed to get them to accept each other's differences and stuff, and since then they don't really fight that much anymore.
