Oh my God, I so agree with what you said. K-Pop and specifically BTS totally 'revitalised my want for music', as you so eloquently put it, too! It was so, so many years ago, but at some point, everything started sounding more or less the same, which made me less excited for music, but BTS really brought the passion for music I had back to me! I haven't looked back since then. Nowadays, most of my playlists almost exclusively consist of BTS. If anyone told me that I can listen to one artist for the rest of my life, it would be them.

He is singing in english not because he HAD to. He wanted to sing in english. He has always wanted to release english songs, pop music, become a gigantic pop star which he is today. What he is doing today, this is HIM. This is Him. From 13 yrs old when he first joined, his talent has always been beyond kpop, even without speaking a spec of english in the very warly yesrs he made countless amazing english covers from very early, he sings english songs on his live, he has english songs in his playlists too. He has loved artists like Charlie Puth, Justin Beiber since starting. So what he is doing today is not bcoz he wants records, it is bcoz THIS , THE JUNGKOOK TODAY IS HIM WHAT HE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE. Now all this what I said is NOT a downplay of his korean songs, not at all. He nails all of them and I know he loves korean songs too obviously. All I want to say is, music is a universal language. His full englosh songs are topping all korean charts too. Not only charts but his songs are being sung by public too all over the world. This just proves if u have good music, if u r a good artist, people are going to love u obviously

I'm so glad someone finally said what I was feeling deep down. I stopped listening to music for a whole year because although i am from the west, I was so disappointed with the music that was being released by artists. I even had people I know in the past that didn't understand why I could live without music. The reason why music wasn't good anymore. It was lazy, dense, disrespectful, emotionless, even annoying. The beats were hit & misses, too inconsistent. I was just tired of it. Then though I was an Army in 2018, I went heavy on them in 2020, BTS as I had said before made me love music again. Its because of them all the music I love are from international artists & underground nobody really know them artists. I loove it. BTS music had depth, care, passion, experimental & versatile style & beats, beautiful vocals & rap, & crisp production & mv. All the things I missed seeing from the west. I truly love these 7 beautiful men sooo much. One thing they have that is even more timeless I find it no where else is their love for Army. I know we annoy them at times & they might have moments that they are tired of us but even in that they truly love us it's real & sincere, I just love it Jungkook is once in a generation gifted, & he's beautiful, charming, charismatic, funny, sweet, fierce, strong, has an impactful presence. He's inviting, I always said that when I watch JK perform its like he has all of me in that moment because he's soo inviting that it's my soul cry for him. I'm in love with him & my 6 other gifted once in a generation men. I'm so proud of them! APOBANGPO

jungkook breathed life back into music that’s what everyone’s been saying, bts is great and are one of the greatest bands of all time but it’s jungkook alone that has conquered the music industry and will go down in history as michael jackson, usher, etc level legendary. his performance and singing skills were such a big part of bts. and him on his own he shines even brighter. his group and him made history. but jungkook made HISstory ( mj reference hehe ). like no wonder he’s an inspiration to even his own band and surpassed many of the groups records and definitely likeability to the general public. it’s literally the jackson 5 and michael jackson story. the group is superb but jungkook my god, he’s untouchable, unsurpassable, and he’s like the beating heart of music. he is music.

First time to discover you guys. I’m a Jungkook-biased ARMY from Day 1 and I love everything that you said, including your appreciation of their hard work and how they need to get mainstream exposure. I hope the bias against artists from other races will be done away with. They have so much talent and passion esp. Jungkook. He deserves Song of the Year and Artist of the Year honestly. No one can do what he does. I also got onto music again because of BTS and never stanned anyone this much as I stan Jungkook. It’s an addiction and I can’t help it.

Had to watch (Former Ranger prospect. Short career. LOL) Love the "T"-shirt! JK was feeling this live performance for sure. "Hey!" This brought back the sounds of my college years. MJ's virbrato vocal style. Boz Scaggs flutes from "Dirty Low Down". Sugar Hill Gang "Rapper's Delight bass line. Kurtis Blow "These Are The Breaks". Not sure if you guys watched but Jimin and Suga both performed live on the Tonight Show when they did their solo work. Also Jimmy Fallon does have other Kpop Idols on his show. He is Army and I feel in my opinion he is the one they trust when doing American late nite tv.
