Tbh i think if we follow closely his solos, background vocals in BTS' songs, his covers he already has it from long ago. It's just he didnt get the right song, yet. Until he got this song... but that's just my opinion

@@celine177cek5 i followed all his solos and covers, I know his voice tones and his vocal techniques. Sometimes he got raspiness in his voice, like in Jump and Run. In his live shows, it doesn't show a lot until like 2018/ 2019, he delivered the Dope bridge differently: more raspy, sharp and stronger. In this ON bridge, the raspiness shows up again, it's so good it feels almost like Bruno Mars. It's just different. He's been practicing, and everyone is stepping up their game I'm sooo proud of them. I can't wait for the live show. I think JK could even sound better on live 😍

This is my favorite track in the album not because i am Jk bias but that R&B groove feels on this track is just so pleasing that I could literally see myself listening to this after a difficult day. Breathtaking right? Where goes limits to his abilities, versatility and talent I am asking....? He is something else, really, and this sound is very progressive in context of the whole track list they put out. Big respect to him for writing it and producing by himself ( with some help from Joon). The song gets better and better with each time I listen to it. You nailed it btw with your remark on how he sings - he is surfing on this beat. Totally man, great description!
