I always get asked, "How do you tell them apart?" My reaction: (insert minions voice here) "Whaaattt????"🤨 Seriously though...heaven forbid they should ever have identical twins. They would never be able to tell their own kids apart, if they can't see the differences in the members. Ok... ok... I'm being harsh. It took me a week to figure out that you can't go by haircolor and kept getting Suga and Jimin mixed up, but honestly I would be the same way with just about everyone else in the world. I'm usually good with faces, my problem is when it is out of context - for example, when I run into someone from class at the grocery store. I recognize them, but can't figure out where I know them from. That kind of thing. So I would be that person that would run into someone famous and have a casual conversation with them like it's no big deal, completely unaware that they are famous. I would be thinking the whole time, "this person looks so familiar, where do I know them from?"

Not gonna lie -- took me a month of seriously binge watching youtube vids before I was able to tell them apart with any accuracy. And it does not help the newbies that the boys tend to change hair colors in almost every video. :D The video that helped me the most was "Ask in a Box: BTS - Blood Sweat & Tears" - so to any newbies out there, give it a look. :)
